Lovely shop and staff. Everything you could possibly want in the way of crafts, knitting, dressmaking etc. Fantastic range of all kinds of crafts. Will definitely get all my stuff from here in future. Excellent shop

Wow what a shop for everything you would need in haberdashery .I purchased a sewing machine for my grand daughter and Gary was so helpful with all the information I needed and got it over from another branch.Sue gave me a lesson on instructions etc .I would highly recommend anyone needing a machine to visit here10/10 Thank you so much

I can't talk highly enough about the staff in this shop. They are so helpful, kind and knowledgeable. As a beginner they spent nearly an hour with me choosing a pattern, finding suitable fabric, and making sure I understood the new parts of the pattern before I left the shop. Fabulous service, lovely people!

Always helpful and kind, i buy both knitting supplies and fabric here. Very helpful for a beginner sewist too, the kind staff showed me how to read the pattern and helped me pick a nice fabric. I really like being able to buy just what I need here, in terms of elastic, bias tape etc- dont have to buy a big packet just the amount you want. Also great selection of fabrics at good prices.

Came in for a service on my singer machine, but they refused to even look at it. When asked for any suggestions I got laughed at and told to just buy a different machine.I wouldn't mind if there was nothing they could do and explain why, but all I got was a bad experience from the absolutely rude and judgmental staff.

Absolutely brilliant service from Sue and Pam.Sue found a new sewing machine for my friend which she tried and found she really likes.Pam got the entire stock of storage boxes down for me ; boxes to keep your sewing stuff tidy and finally I bought two.A really good experience.Thank you Sue ,Pam and Franklin’s.

My daughter and I have been shopping in Franklin’s for 10 years and I have never had a bad experience.Staff members are polite, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.Prices maybe a little higher than say on the market but the quality is so much better, so it is worth paying that little extra.Even better now they have a loyalty card system so you get points for all of your purchases. I save mine up for a little while and then use them for cheaper future purchases.I highly recommend this haberdashery shop.

So helpful! When ever I go in here I learn something new. The first time I was enthusiastic but clueless and the lady behind the counter showed me an app to make a circle skirt. The last time I took my overlocker and the guy in there showed me how to change the needle. The fabrics are constantly changing so it's always worth popping in to see if there's anything you fancy. A great little shop.
