Spent 2 nights on our way to Scotland. Rob met us with a cheerey smile. Basic site but very peaceful and quiet. Super Beech Tree forest for walks. Entrance a bit tight but my sat nav had the wrong approach.

Very basic, but it is a nice place to be you don't have to park in lines so you can be in a circle with your friends. There are various fire pits around the campsite with portable fire pits as well. The owners are very friendly and laid back.

Spent a great weekend here for a fiends 50th. Great space that is easy to get to, yet it feels far from anywhere. Nice woodland area surrounds it and it was lovely to wake up to the sound of birdsong mere feet away. Facilities are goid flushing toilets and a washing up area. Impressive for a field.

We found this beautiful site when travelled back from Wales to Dover. You have lots of space here on a flat field and you have some fire pits around. The owner is very friendly and dogs are welcome. Prices are very fair with 10 pounds / night. We would come back here again.

As others have said, this is a basics-only campsite but very good in that category.Flat and level, soft ground, lush grass. (Might get quite muddy after extended rain.) Washing-up sink. Drinking water standpipe (maybe only one for the whole site?). 3 flushing loos: 1 has sink and locking door, the other two have a non-locking door only. No hot water. Picnic tables and fire pits first-come-first-served. In April at least, LOADS of space, nowhere near full up.The main road is surprisingly busy so does contribute noise, but quieter from 10-11pm or so. Chatting to owner, some weekends they do have big noisy groups (youth/scouts etc), this isn't the kind of site where silence after 10pm" is expected or enforced. We paid £12/night (cash only) for 2 people in a tent

Friendly reception. Nice site with good walks BUT very, very loud music started up at 1.00am for an hour. Then a car was driving around the site with full beams on for another hour. Felt unsafe as it was stopping at each pitch. Maybe it's a one off incident but we won't be back.

Around the campsite is picnic tables with fire pits for you to walk directly into the woods to collect your wood for a delightful evening.Campsite is cheep & cheerful, don’t expect the Ritz!Any vehicle can access as we have a 5th Wheel! No problem. Can’t wait to return
