Country Baskets

I do not do bad reviews but I couldn't believe this store! This used to be a great store, now its gone down hill. Entered the store to staff gossiping at the reception they were aware we was stood waiting (one of them were anyway) and continued to make us wait. We knew what we had come for but couldn't seem to find it we got sent by 4 different staff around the store without any help at all to find the item, lastly a little lady took us directly to where we needed to be. We actually felt uncomfortable and like pests asking again and again where the item was. We went to the till to go pay, we was waiting at least 5 minutes before I had to go to reception for the lady to come and serve us as she was still chatting away with her colleague. To then leave the store and realise this lady had charged us for 3 items rather than 2. I Confronted her to say that seems a bit much she said it was VAT . On the way home we looked at the receipt and seen she had charged us more, Rang the store to tell them she's charged me for 3 they did refund it to my card but who ever did so put the details in wrong and I was left chasing my own money a week later to be told it was an issue i had to chase up with my bank asked the lady to just double check and they had put details in wrong. Finally got my refund today this review is not just about the money but the whole experience there, it was horrendous.

Used the cafe, a hidden gem, friendly service, nice food and reasonable prices, surprisingly good view from the windows of the surrounding area (as on the top floor) Will visit again.

I've traded with country baskets for over 25 years. Am desolate that I can't use them anymore. I had a great relationship with the staff thro the years but last time I visited, there was nothing that I wanted to buy and the prices were utterly ridiculous. Mother's day is looming, I have a very busy shop but hand on heart, I simply can't afford to buy here anymore

I remember this place from years ago when we were in the fashion trade. Although they had a good selection we were disappointed as it didn't feel trade....

Good place to visit for our wedding and flower needs, ribbons and pull bows, decorations lots to choose from,.Only problem today was pricing, bucket price was £2.99, but at the till they were £5.99, and its not the first time this has happened.

Lots of Christmas ideas and gifts. Lovely to look round.

Excellent place to buy arts and crafts items. It is also very cheaper then the other arts and crafts stores I have been to. If you are planning a wedding, birthday or anniversary it's a great place to find the decorations you need. Highly recommended.

Great place to browse for gifts for the house, garden or family and friends. Birthdays, weddings and funerals. Friendly staff, good car park.

Lovely flowers every colour silk or dry. Beautiful arrangements lots of Xmas ideas. We'll worth a visit.

Wow what a fantastic place. The lady that serves us was so lovely and helpful. I found most of the staff that we saw had faces of thunder and abrupt. They made me feel as if I was in there way. Apart from that 5 stars and the products are 1st class and good quality.
