We have visited here many times .... we purchased my future wife's engagement ring and now our wedding bands ... always friendly, helpful and professional service.Would not go anywhere else for our family jewellery.

Staff very obliging and explained all I needed to know about my ring being enlarged Offered alternative to paying full total of work carried out. Suggested using family jewellery to add to the ring.

Had a ring of mine altered and cleaned, my husband had similar. We are both delighted not only with the alterations and customer service. Excellent from start to finish. Would highly recommend.

Just went in for a new watch battery. Having previously got them cheaper elsewhere but then experienced problems such as short battery life, I now go to Bullocks to get them. I paid £10 for the battery and £5 for the watch to be re-sealed. This was done quickly while I waited. Not particularly cheap but I have more faith that it has been done well and will last for some time to come.

What a load of Bullocks!!!I took some Gold to sell into the shop on 21st September. I was told that the people who check the Gold were on holiday for a fortnight , so I did expect a delay in receiving payment.I’d not heard anything for several weeks, so telephoned on Tuesday 17th October.They lady I spoke to took my Bank Details and said that they would transfer money the following day (Wednesday 18th).Nothing happened on Wednesday, so I telephoned again on Thursday. The young lady I spoke to said they were very busy in the shop, but took my details and said someone would ring me back.I telephoned again on Friday morning as I’d had no call back (and there was no money in my bank account). I was told there was a family emergency so it would have to wait until Monday.I appreciate the “family emergency” would take priority, but they were obviously open and still trading (and are open on Saturdays)On Monday I’d heard nothing, so on Tuesday morning I went down to the shop.I was “greeted” with a plethora of excuses from the Owner, a rambling apology and given a fist full of cash …… needless to say I won’t be going back ….. EVER !!!

Went to have my wife's chains repaired, the young lady handled everything so professionally and kindly, I was impressed, I was moved to commend her for a job well done!!

Absolutely fantastic family business, who are extremely knowledgeable about anything to do with jewelery, watches etc, along with being friendly, helpful and always go the extra mile. Well worth a visit.

Please shop around before going to this jewellery shop. Wanted 5 little jump rings to extend gold bracelet, Samantha quoted and wrote down that it would cost £175. Yes I was stunned to say the least. Decided to check another jewellers in long eaton. Guess how much? Wait for it........ £25 plus I was given 6 gold jump rings. Is Stuart Bullock & Son trying to take advantage or what!!!!!Have sent written quote via email.
