I used this company to help me find a tenant for my Forest Hill property. It didn't go very well. With 2 months notice to find a tenant, they failed to do so causing me lost rent. Repeatedly showed up to give viewings with little notice whilst the old tenants were at home causing complaints. When asked directly if there were any issues with the place during the change-over, they assured me all was well and the place was ready. I later had to spend 100s of cleaning and gardening, causing upset to the new tenants.Winkworth made excuses about how I didn't pay for the additional service that allows them to spot stains on the couch, piles of rubbish bags and an untended garden. I'd thought the nearly 2000 I did pay them would have bought me a little common sense from the staff, but no. Time to look for a new agent

George was patient and professional, acting as an intermediary between us and the vendors. He was very understanding of various issues that arose along the way, helping to resolve them, and offered reassuring knowledge of the house-buying process.

First class service from start to finish from team at the Forest Hill branch. From replying to emails, amending photos, keeping me updated and advising me, the team were excellent. The viewings and offers came in quickly, so they really know how to market properties competitively. The sale was particularly difficult due to circumstances completely out of our control, but they reacted swiftly and ensured we kept the momentum going when problems arose. This is also where they really earned their fee and very important as the UK buying process is fraught with pitfalls and a good agent can save a lot of heartache. Highly recommended!
