Shipping costs horrendous, tool costs : £5.50shipping to mainland additional: £13,50 (!!)(Thanks to Brexit additional tax here €7.20...so altogether £25.- for a £5.50 tool)Cannot believe that an envelope (40 grams) to Europe costs this much. Additional tax is not only added to tool but also on shipping costs !RDG might consider their shipping costs again.

What a place! Never seen so much engineering equipment, large and small, on display. Staff were helpful beyond belief and I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the store!

Have made several orders online here. Every product has been excellent, pricing superb and low threshold for free shipping. Staff helpful too. Have also heard very good things from people who have actually visited the store.

Awful service and horrendous stock. ALL of their stock is cheap made in Asia tat for the ‘toy machinist’. No actual engineer or machinist would been seen dead with this stuff. Nothing is ‘precise’ like they say, anything that turns has about 0.1mm+ run out, anything that’s meant to be parallel or square is out also and anything that should be hardened is soft because they make all their tools out of cheap Chinese mild steel rather than proper hardenable tool steel. If you have any sort of esteem for yourself and value your quality of workmanship then don’t use this tat. Seriously it’s embarrassing to think I even wasted my money on tools from here. If you don’t believe me just order something and see for yourself, I dare you. All I can say is just buy second actual BRITISH made tools off eBay as they hold up so much better. Any good reviews of this place aren’t from actual machinist or engineers, i pitty those who are getting into engineering and buy from here and this is all they know of. If you read this and still use RDG then it’s on you. I told you so.
