I had a problem with the shoes I brought from another branch of Barker. Vic was absolutely brilliant. He took on the issue as though it was his. He tried everything to make the shoe better and gave me lots of advice. He also gave me some shoe cream so that I can soften the leather.

I wandered into this shop with the intention of buying some shoelaces. I asked for 3 different colours, and was going to pay, when the generous chap behind the counter said I could have them on the house. It was done with charm. I will remember this shop when contemplating which brogues I want.In addition their range is rather good.

Used to be good, but nowadays they are hit and miss. Often too big and significant differences between left and right shows, so that right ankle height and / or opening size will be much bigger than the left shoe's etc. No free returns and they will likely dispute your view even when you send photos with measurements, so they don't have to pay for return postage.

I recommend avoiding this shop. The shoes are beautiful but the customer service is terrible. They don't appear to have a stock system or customer record system. Having experienced long delays in receiving a shoe order and finally having to request a refund I didn't receive an apology or any attempt to retain me as a Barker customer. Most recently having spoken to the Sales Assistant Ash I was shocked at how rude he was and how little care was shown, when the brand attempts to show itself as a quality premium product. Very disappointed.

Bought my wedding shoes from here. H was absolutely first class. Very knowledgeable about the different types of shoes, offered suggestions and help in selecting the right shoe. I'm sure they'll do the job, the quality in the materials is really noticeable. Not cheap, but happy with the quality. Will be back.

Called into Regent Street on Friday 1st September and was served by Hayreddin. Service was professional and welcoming and nothing was a problem. Made a purchase and am delighted with the shoes. Highly recommended

Barker Shoes
The most horrendously uncomfortable shoes I have ever owned. There are bits poking into my feet in multiple places. The orange upper rim at the back of the shoe actually cut into the back of my foot to the point that it was bleeding. I ended up having to take them off on my walk home from central London. They are not too small. They are just a bad design. Such a shame because I love the look of them.
