Went to Geoff for urgent repairs on a VW after reading reviews here. Car was fixed in impressive time and is now running perfectly. Very happy with the service and advice and will definately be coming back

Geoff, has always provided informative advice and clarity when I've asked questions regarding my VW Golf. This garage is a good place to service or repair your car and I have used them several times over the past few years and have been happy after each occassion. Excellent service, friendly atmosphere and fair prices.

Bad experience.Not worth to tell the story , it will be two pages.Happened three days ago. Beetle 2007 petrol 1.6 engine.Geoff the owner of the garage philosopher and winding me up with convincing stories about motor oil / Mannol/ never heard about it and engine FLUSHERS and fuel tank cleaners .,Still not sure if he had done all the work. I might go to the main official VW garage to check it all.Yellow icon / check the engine / on the dashboard still on cause he could not detected which part of three sensors were actually faulty.Today I went to the local garage for diagnoses and they showed me on the computer faulty part.He likes to charge for these funny fuel and engine FLUSHERS really a fortune.Thinking for reporting him to the official customer service complaint department.That's it. First visit last week, very happy with the service. Geoff clearly knows VWs like the back of his hand (even ours, which is a relatively rare V5 engine). Good, honest garage

I have used Frank Follett Motors on several occasions now: for a service, to change the timing belt, and to do some minor repairs on the brakes. Every time, I have found Geoff to be friendly, helpful, and highly professional; he delivers good results at competitive prices. I intend to return for the next service.

Booked my Audi TT in at Follett Motors to have front bushes replaced after being given a horrendous quote by main dealer. From start to finish I was impressed with the knowledge of the mechanic (he certainly knows his stuff) and the level of personal service shown..but more importantly, I was amazed at how the car felt when I drove it home. The car felt sharp and tight again in a way it hadnt done for years! I would most certainly recommend this garage, and will be going back.

Frank provides exactly what you need. He fitted me in at short notice, diagnosed and fixed the problem for less than what I was quoted by another VW dealer for just carrying out a diagnosis. That was several week ago and my car is running as sweet as it ever did. Ok, there were no free car wash or coffee in reception but that's not what I want anyway.I highly recommend you check out Frank's garage, if it's a no frills honest service you are looking for that's what Frank provides, you can't ask for more.

I never write reviews, in fact this is my first on Google! However following my fantastic experience yesterday I felt this was worth it, if nothing else to support good quality local businesses.I had an issue with my car (10/11 year old A3 2.0TDI) which I assumed was to do with bushes and down links. Called up Follet Motors and the guy said bring it round, then and there - great customer service for a start. I was there within half an hour, I was told to give them an hour to investigate. It turns out that it was nothing to do with my assumptions but some innocuous part rattling around making a racket, which was removed - given the age of my car the cost of replacement outstrips the necessity of function.The guy could easily have charged me for an hours work, Audi charge at least £60 just to have a look around your car! I wasn't charged a penny.Additionally I was impressed walking into such a clean, tidy and well organised garage.I am taking my car back here for it's next service (due in two months) and again when the timing belt and water pump are due for replacement later this year.

The best VAG mechanic in the country! Been going to Geoff for years with various cars, Audi, VW and even my mates Seat; always top quality parts, great service, the car always runs a miles better than previous. If you have VAG car, and need a decent mechanic, look no further.
