Absolutely shocking.Pulled in to see if they had availability for Sunday lunch. As it wasn't busy they told us to take a seat and they'd bring the menu over. 15 or so minutes, maybe more, still no service at all. One of the girls cleared the table next to us without a look or a word. So being polite, we wait. In the end I went to the bar to ask for menus and explained we'd been sitting there 15 minutes. Sat back down and nothing. The younger waitress, who looked like she was covering our section, seemed incredibly vacant. After 20 minutes or so we gave up and left.I wouldn't have minded so much if it was hectic but it was nothing like busy. Incredibly poor

We were going to Toby carvery but it was an hour wait. Popped in here and so glad Toby’s was full. Food was delicious especially the cheesy garlic mushrooms. We then both had the Sunday roast one chicken and one beef. Wow 5 different veg, roast and mashed tatties and a huge Yorkshire pudding. AllThis covered in delicious gravy. Price was amazing as were the staff well worth a visit.

I stayed her with my family for a night. The restaurant part was great. The rooms however, weren't so great. For starters when we arrived, before we even settled in, the strike plate of the door lock came out of the wall after my brother opened the door. It came out so easily becasue it was only secured into the wall with 1 screw, instead of 2. The smoke detector in our room was also hanging off the ceiling and wasn't screwed in properly. The bathroom wasn't very good either. The bathroom door doesn't have a lock on it. There's also no toilet roll holder in the bathroom either, but because the bathroom itself is so small, the sink is positioned right infront of the toilet and makes it very hard to sit on the toilet. Also, there's no shower mat in the shower and I almost slipped up a couple of times

Popped in for a quick meal. Very friendly staff and super fast service. The steak exceeded expectations, bettering other much more expensive ones we have had. and the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. Good value for the price, which is very reasonable.

Stayed there 2 nights, the room was very clean and in great condition. The staff are so lovely, I have food intolerance and they went well above what I expected to accommodate me.I will definitely go there again.

Good price and selection of food. Shame that the garlic butter chicken came out covered in onions (despite asking for no veg/salad) and the sauce looked and tasted more like a mild curry, doused with garlic. Still tasted good, just not what I expected as wasn't as described. We shall still be back again, as the service was amazing, food still good overall and all at a great price.

Popped in for beer after a walk in the area. Had no real ale on, but had Neckoil for a relatively good price of £4.65! Ended up staying for a while & having food. The prices were very good & had first class fish & chips.
