First Time we've been here and we were not disappointed! A request to change seats was granted no problem, staff were attentive but not over powering which was wonderful too! Clean and tidy, staff cleared tables swifty. We loved the fact that there is space between you and other guests, no backing my chair into someone or squeezing past!! The food was delicious, we went for the carvery, which was good value for money and so tasty! Thank you Rock Rose, we shall return!

I made a last minute booking for lunch for 4 adults and 1child.The welcome was very good we were shown to our seat and asked if we were happy with the space and how to order our food and drinks.The restaurant was clean nice and bright and warm.Our food was served promptly with adults having the carvery and grandson had the classic burger.All the food was nicely cooked and hot.The bar service was quick and friendly as were the serving staff.Excellent value with the current offers we will be back.

We came in after my daughter’s appointment as a treat. Staff were friendly and welcoming, food was quite quick and tasty, son enjoyed the play area whilst waiting for the food (which really helps as he is autistic and struggles to sit patiently), and I received blue light card discount which was a bonus so close to Christmas! Will definitely come again, and have already recommended the Rock Rose to friends and family!

Two of us ate here, we had the Christmas carvery. The roast meat was fresh and tender, the vegetarian option was really nice. Yorkshire puds are huge! The roast potatoes are great and the choice of fresh vegetables is great. Definitely something for everyone. Our only real problem was not being able to eat loads. You should turn up hungry! Will definitely go again as not only is the food good, the staff are really good too. They are friendly, helpful and available without being in the way.

This was our first time here. The staff were pleasant & helpful. We all decided to have Carvery. The food was lovely but could have been a bit hotter. We did clear our plates though.

Service was great, 2 of our party had the carvery and it was very nice although the gravy was a little cold. My daughter had kids pasta which she loved. The kids area is an excellent addition to your pub and is one of the reasons we come back time and time again.

Lunch time booking was quickly upgraded to a table for 4 from 3 due to unexpected extra guest. Lovely food nice food pacing.

Carvery was lovely! Loads of options and food was hot and really tasty. Big portions. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and were all working very hard! Will definitely be back.

Menu quite varied. 1 diner had the carvery which was very good. The meat and veg were fresh, with a good variety. Other diners chose from the menu, again this was of good quality; the burger was well cooked and presented. A pie and mash potato was also well cooked, hot and freshly made.

I found ordering online quite hard need a mobile version for booking as if made error had to start again. I know at the other end online booking course staff issues with our many varying dietary requirements. However food was good and we enjoyed ourselves. I would book again for sure. Staff very polite and my group were awkward at times (sorry for that) they handled well
