HQ Laptop Repair

Jan is a great guy, fixed 2 of my Macbook laptops all within 24 hours. Another shop stated the Macbooks were unrepairable this would require new motherboards, he fixed them both for £165 including a new HDD cable required. Also was willing to open on a saturday/sunday if I was unable to make a weekday back to collect the laptops.

It is a shame that there are no more stars than five because this business deserves it. People travel miles because of his expertise.The service is always professional and timely, with excellent advice given as to the best action to take.I always recommend this business to others because it cannot be spoken highly enough.

This is the only repair shop I use. As a small business owner (who is not techy) I have at times found myself in need of technical help with regards laptops, hard drives and also a mac. I have used this company about 5 times in the past four or so years, including just yesterday for issues with a hard drive not powering. The business owner helped me figure out the issue was with the power source and after identifying the problem sent me on my way without any cost on my side. On the occasions where the company has provided me with a paid service, the service has been completed to a very high standard and for a very good price. I 100% recommend the guy who runs this company as being someone who is knowledgeable, courteous and provides service for a fair price. Highly recommend!

Was able to fix a Nintendo very quickly for us before going on a long flight. They kept us fully updated throughout the process, turned it around very quickly and had a great no problem attitude. Excellent local supplier, thank you!

I'd just like to reiterate what others have said. I was told by Apple that my MacBook Pro required a new motherboard at around £800, it wasn't worth it and I should buy another one! Took it to Jan who had a look at it. Worked out what was wrong and quoted a very reasonable price (less than a quarter of the Apple price for a motherboard!). All done and dusted very quickly. The only delay was awaiting a part, but it was still ready within a couple of days. And, to be honest it now works like a dream and is like having a new laptop! The customer service was so good took my iPad in for a new screen and repair. All done in less than two days and as good as new! Thoroughly recommend this company to anyone requiring repairs or servicing.

My MacBook Pro suffered a hard drive failure and I thought I'd lost everything. HQ managed to clone all of my data onto a new hard drive. Very quick turnaround time at a reasonable price, I couldn't be happier.

took my Sony vaio in for repair , didn't have much faith as the last guy that repaired an old lap top of mine had completely lost all my files. this computer wiz talked me through all my options and and kept me informed when i collected my laptop he had reinstalled all my files and the laptop was quicker than new......... what more can you ask for . will recommend H Q to friends and colleagues excellent job.
