Sonargaon Restaurant Whitechapel
The service was great, the Molvibazaari brother went above and beyond to cater for us.The Bortas and Meat Curry were very tasty. The rest of the Buffet was average. The dishes were on the cool side and so was the rice.It’s value for money as it’s £15 PP.The stall at the front of the store has delicious Jabeli and Pakoras.

A convenient small buffet in Whitechapel, although it is pretty cramped inside with the seating and gets very busy. It is good value for money, you can take as much as you want. Drinks are not included within the buffet price. It’s like home cooked food. Staff are constantly refilling the buffet to ensure nothing is empty.

Untidy low quality restaurantWe were four from difficult cities of Canada and London, UKFood was not very good. Staff were okay. Washroom was dirty and had no paper towel or napkins.Jilabi tray ( desert) was empty. It took requests to two servers to bring some. They brought few broken pieces of jilabi although they were making fresh jilabi at the front of the restaurant.

I recently dined at a Bangladesh food restaurant, and I have mixed feelings. The food had a burst of flavors, which some might appreciate, but personally, I found it a bit overwhelming. I'd give it 3 stars for the food due to the excessive seasoning.

This restaurant is located at the center of Whitechapel. The taste is close to the Bangladeshi cuisine. I went there for an iftar event. I liked the environment and sitting arrangements. Although during iftar it was very busy. The food was average. Nice place for hanging out with friends and family.

My children love to eat here. We visit once a month. The food is always delicious. The biryani and meat curry is the best I’ve ever had anywhere. They have a large selection from staters, rice, curries to desserts for £12.95. it’s a good place. Staff are friendly. It’s a cosy comfortable place to eat. They do only have a few desserts but you can go out and buy jallebi.

Food was fine but the let down thing was the behavior of the waiters/waitresses. I mean why do they need to push their customers over and over again for taking a bottle of water exactly like how people sell water bottles back on the streets of Dhaka city? A very cheap manoeuvre for some extra profit but it's ruining the image of the restaurant badly. Requesting owners to look into this issue.

I would never recommend this restaurant for you. They are not only bad quality but also fraud. We had iftaar there and they have taken £14.98 per person but didn’t give us enough food. No buffet was served though they were saying buffet will be served after. Not hygienic and toilet is too dirty. Avoid this scamming restaurant.

Visited a while ago but visited again! I had a family platter instead of having the buffet, and everything was good! The prawns in the prawn bhuna were big and has lots of flavour, the naan was delicious, the grilled meat assortment was good. Good for sharing. Waiters were very helpful.
