Dovecot Chinese Take Away
We ordered our food 1 hour and 40 minutes ago, it's still not here. We were told it would take 1 hour. This is only our second delivery from this take away, and the first one was delivered with stuff missing. If the food is cold we won't be ordering from here again. 5 stars for the chef as the food is tasty, minus 3 stars for all the problems. Update: So... chips were cold. Fish was cold. Had to microwave them, so it was not very nice in the end and the chips were really bad. Will not be ordering again.

TWICE now the food took over 2 hours and a phone call to arrive. When I rang all I got was it's busy tonight" I suggest you get more staff or don't take so many orders on. It's such a shame because the food is lovely but as the service is so bad and there are plenty of other places to order from

Dovecot Chinese Take Away
Ordered a meal at 7.15 its now 9.29 and its still not here. I only live in Old Swan and for the amount of time its taking I could have walked there and back. When you phone up all you get is it will be 10 mins....the cars in your area...ohhh it will be 10 mins or they button you. Never used Dovecot Chinese take away before I certainly wont be ordering again

worse takeaway ever . ordered salt n pepper chicken , noodles , chips and curry waited 2 hours for it . when it came I only received noodles n chips . phoned them up and they called me a liar and refused to give me my money back. staff absolutely appalling.

Food very poor salt and pepper box warmed up and refried, inedible. The shumai tasted off.Have ordered before from here but this is the last time shocking.If you want better quality go elsewhere total waste of money straight in the bin.Food inspector should take a look at this place.

Worst takeaway everWe ordered are meals, one of them being crispy duck and pancakes. We only got the pancakes. We phoned up and got called a liar saying we didn't order any even tho it was on are receipt they told us we only ordered pancakes?? . We told them we had paid for the meal and then they lied to us saying that one of the meals was dearer when it tells us the price on just eat. Most of the sharer was burnt and some was soggy. If I could I would rate 0 stars. Worst place I've ordered from and staff absolutely appalling.

Absolutely awful. Waited 1hour and 50 minutes for food that was inedible. Chicken was black, rice was hard and burnt. Prawn crackers were stale. Will not be ordering from here again. Does not deserve any star rating. Awful take away.

I understand its new years eve but I ordered early to avoid this, over 3 hours later still no food and no way to contact the restaurant as the phone was off the hook.Had to start cooking tea at 9.30pm then after 10 the delivery turned up cold so i refused to accept it absolute disgrace.I want my just eat refunding
