Ho Wan Chinese Takeaway Bexleyheath

Have been going here for years and always raved about how good it is however the service last night has changed our views and we will now be avoiding here permanently. Our sesame chicken spring rolls didn’t arrive with our order so we gave Ho Wan’s a quick ring to sort this out and get our spring rolls. We understand times are hard at the moment so we were not in a rush to receive them and were not expecting them to be delivered straight away. As soon as I said to the man on the phone that part of our order is wrong, he immediately got defensive and said “I re-read the order out to the person ordering and it was correct” “you didn’t order those” and proceeded to acuse me of lying. We definitely did order them, we wrote our whole order down before ringing and placing our order and when the order was repeated back to us, the sesame chicken spring rolls were confirmed to be ordered.We hadn’t even given the man any details to look up our order and the phone we used to call wasn’t the phone number they have on record as we used my phone. So how did the man know whether our order was right or wrong?? He continued to raise his voice and speak down on me despite me trying to politely explain the situation.Had Ho Wan’s made a genuine mistake such as a mix up or miscommunication, we would of been beyond understanding (it happens!), however we were immediately accused of being liars and told that we couldn’t have them (despite paying for them).Not only have we been overcharged, we were left absolutely offended. Sadly our many years of business with this Chinese takeaway has now come to an end. Very upsetting the way we were treated last night, especially as honest, loyal customers.

Been coming to this takeaway for a while now tonight only wanted lemon chicken and mini spring rolls. After waiting half hour they admitted they had lost my ticket!! Man who came in.half hour after me got his at same time . The lady came out to apologise but it wouldn't have hurt her pop some prawn crackers in bag. Sorry but won't be returning

Shared the chicken curry bachelor special with my 11 year old who loved it. I had the stir fried vegetables in black bean sauce, was the best vegetable dish I have had from a Chinese takeaway

Buy from here all the time .but tonights take away we couldnt eat it as the curry sauce was far far to salty but was too late as we had poured it all over our food.So sad as i usually love there food .slighty disappointed

Had a good takeaway from Ho Wan last night. Couldnt fault anything that we ordered. The chicken balls were just the right consistency. Crispy chilly beef was really good and all of the chowmein dishes were very good.All in all a very nice take away.

Had our first takeaway from Ho Wan tonight.Found it all much too salty but the meats were all tender and the rice and noodles were nice. The ribs were lovely as was the pork and duck.The prawn dish we chose wasn't so good. It was prawns and cashew nuts but the gravy it was in, was all wrong. Perhaps yellow bean or sweet and sour sauce would have been better than gravy.Everything just over salted

Smoked Chicken changed my life. I have never been the same since.

This is our regular take away… last weekend we had a delivery for a party and it was absolutely delicious our friends loved it…. Great portions! Very tasty! Friendly helpful staff :)

Absolutely exquisite.The vegetable spring rolls were absolutely perfect.Nothing bad to say here.
