Nice beach near Southend on Sea.This is a good alternative to Southend beach being a bit more quiet in summer as not many people know it out of the area.Nice sandy beach and grass area. Plenty of parking but car park needs resurfacing as it’s like a bomb site.Only scoring three stars due to grass area covered in dog poop.Recommended alternative to Southend Beach.

This place is great for a picnic or a bbq as the allow bbq fires. Also lots of space to play games with family etc. Parking is easy if you have the app and quite cheap. The tide goes out quite some way so check tide times if you want to swim or play in the sea.

Large car park with grass areas. Newly refurbished toilets. Plenty of space on the top of cliff area with steps or slope to beach. Pool area that remains full even at low tide.

Great space for dog-walking, exercising or having a picnic/BBQ. Great views of the sea and it's all available for free!..Well apart from the car park.

It's a peaceful idyllic beach with a nice car park and very quietly situated. Good for picnic and there are a few village shops nearby

I live here so go quite often. Great for kids and walking. Family bbqs are great days out.

Love going here with my family. Park for the children, parking is reasonably priced. If the weather is nice you can take a picnic or eat at the burger stall. Food is nice there. Very close to the water if the tide is in so keep an eye on the children of they go close to the edge.
