Cats Protection - Downham Market Adoption Centre

Such a great experience adopting our cat from here, the COVID changes put in place made collecting him so easy and the responses via email were quick and efficient. After adoption follow up emails are great and you know they are always there if needed.

So very kind when I had to rehome my darling kitten because my dog was allergic to her. Quickly found her a new home. Sad but they were all so lovely. Be careful on the roads around there though....really bad condition!!!

The young ladies at Stowbridge (DownhamMkt) Cats Protection gave me so much information regarding the ongoing medical and dietary needs of ‘the chosen one’ who I am collecting next week after she has seen the vet and been given some medication to tide her over until seeing my vet. I had already seen her adorable face on the website and the fact that she was happy living with dogs. As I am unwell, I have a medical alert assistance dog by my side wherever I am, I need a cat who is happy to be a furry purring friend who like me and Luna (the dog) needs some loving. The chosen cat was the only one in the cattery on the day I visited, who had previously lived with a dog and it made my decision much easier as I had already fallen for the one I’ve reserved! She was also a house cat which my husband wanted.The cattery at Cats Protectionwas spotlessly clean, everywhere was immaculate but there were lots of smells which Luna hadn’t discovered when working by my side. She had to sniff everything, including the cat and neither of them were bothered about the other.There is a small shop in the reception area selling various cat toys. I didn’t get a chance to look as I was filling in the rehomers form.I would recommend the Cats Protection 100%. I am so excited for next week. They had some stunning cats requiring homes. My adult son fell in love with Cassie but at 14 years old, she had never lived with a dog and it’s not the sort of thing I want to put a cat that age through (although my previous cats lived to being 16 & 22). My experience is negative it was in 2017. My female cat had a kitten. However, she had a habit to walk after us to school, shop etc and often she was lost, and we had to search for her.After a day or two missing her I saw Cats Protection posters help me find way home" with my cat's picture. I fed the kitten with kitten milk.I worked in a Factory and planned to call them when I finish the shift. I barely spoke English

This is such a great place to foster a cat or kitten. The staff were so professional and helpful. We have a huge thank you for the staff as we were lucky enough to foster a beautiful cat we've called Teddy. He is settling in really well and we are so happy. Please give them a look when you are searching out a new fluffy friend.

Fantastic place,wonderful staff that work hard to find nice homes for these cats.We got our little bundle of fun who only has 3 legs, this weekend and already what a lovely little fella he is.Full of fun
