Meadowlands Leisure Centre

Refurbished and looking good. We used the pool for a wet and wild session and the café. Both were good value. The sessions are prebooked and strictly adhered to.

Visited today with my nearly 2 year old son, first time using the pool, the changing rooms are adequate, cubicles could be bigger but that's just me being picky! Centre was clean and warm, lockers are £1 and you get this back, buggy area and shower areas clean. Toddler pool was warm, floats given by lifeguards but it was lovely and chilled. Will definitely visit again, all the staff I encountered were friendly :)

Meadowlands just hosted my daughter's birthday party. It was excellent! An hour with the pool to ourselves was brilliant and lots of fun. The studio was great for the birthday tea. The staff really made it, being incredibly helpful. We'd do it again.

One star is too kind. We were really disappointed. We visited a good few years ago and it was a fantastic 6 star pool. Lazy river that went outdoors and back in, a slide, fountains and jacuzzi. It was a superb memory that we'll now keep as just a memory.We visited today and they've replaced all the fun parts with a gym so that all that remains is a sad pool overfilled with floation devices. We won't be making the trip again.

Enjoyed our fun swim. Pool warm, lots of floats etc for the children to play with. Timed session worked well.

The lady on reception was so lovely. My son wasn't sure if he wanted to swim but she encouraged him to come and have a look at the pool first. Then she helped us find some Google's that fit as he has sensory needs. Someone like that at the front of your business is invaluable. She interacted with him and made him feel important, and made mummy much less flappy. Thankyou from a very happy mummy

Gym looks great but it's completely crippled what used to be a great family pool, I'm here on a Saturday during wet & wild (it's wet but not wild) the interactive components are really bad now and the showers dribble out cold water, then to top it all off, after the session they shut the cafe, brilliant.

What used to be a fantastic family fun pool has sadly been reduced to a shallow, no-fun pool. It’s very expensive when compared to other leisure centres in the region, and the family swim had all of the family friendly bits closed off (no slide, no lazy river, no fountains, the sitting pool (not sure if it was a jacuzzi?) was also bizarrely closed off). All that was left was a 1.35m deep short pool and a 75cm deep pool. You can’t even jump in! We were told off for using the “mushrooms” between to two pools for standing our kids on to transition between them. And it was cold!Really not a family fun pool any longer. If it doesn’t get a bit of a switch up from management, it’s likely to die. Unfortunately I fed the prognosis is guarded at best…
