City Salsa London Salsa Classes and Clubs

I really like this place, it's an extremely friendly and fun night. I've been dancing for nearly 20 years and this is the best place I've been to for a long time, definitely my favourite.

Great classes with amazing atmosphere.

Very welcoming academy. I have been student for half a year and I am very happy with the teachers and with the relaxed and fun environment for learning. I have had Newton and Katrina as regular teachers for months, and I would totally recommend both as they are very nice, patient and fun to learn from.

Nice crew, going for more than a year :)

UPDATE: They have restarted classes in the Clapham area and are as good as always. Will be going to classes regularly now and see how it goes. The text below is for people's reference.Archived (2015-2016): A few years ago, they had very good teachers, nice music and good moves. Since then, they have moved their base a few too many times - every time dumping students in the cold, from what I have seen.I have personally been left holding a loyalty card with over 8 classes remaining for a stretch of over 8 months without knowing if they had permanently shut down or not (the only reason I came to know about them reopening is because I was contacted to edit my earlier 1 star review). Most recently, I had a deja vu moment with loads of students turning up at the venue, only to be turned away by the bar security as nobody had been intimated that CitySalsa had shut down for a few months.My recommendation: Go when the classes happen. Don't count on them being regular.

Katrina is one of the worst teachers I've ever seen in any discpline. Knows nothing about the spirit of dancing or communication.

Amazing atmosphere, awesome teachers, if you want to learn this beautiful skill this is the place to be
