I bought a Mercedes A180D back in 2019. After 3 years all of the standard factory speakers and tweeters had completely died. I asked for Mercedes for a quote to replace the speakers. They advised it would cost £900 just to replace with the same factory speakers that had already died...I tried Halfords, who sold me speakers and then advised that they couldn't fit them to Mercedes cars. Long story, Mercedes do not make it easy to replace or upgrade their systems.After a lot of irritation I heard about Sourcesounds on the off chance. They quoted me similar to Mercedes, but with vastly improved speakers that would not be susceptible to the same flaws.Works were completed in 24 hours and the results are magnificent! The sound is unlike anything else I have heard in a car and is better than my home speakers. Staff were professional, and efficient. Would highly recommend to anyone!

They made what I thought was going to be complicated purchase an absolute breeze.They fitted a front and rear dashcam, and added rear parking sensors. I've had a great experience with Source Sounds from start to finish.My initial enquiry was taken down and being a bit more complex was followed up within a few days with all my options set out to help make a clear decision.The install was carried out professionally and I was updated with progress. When I went to pick my car up, Chris and the younger lad with dreadlocks (I think he was called Tom - apologies if incorrect) spent time to explain what had been done and other things I needed to know in a friendly and easy to understand manner, which put me at ease.One thing that stood out was they called me by my name, and not just mate or pal, which made a big difference.I'm delighted with the install and really happy with the sound achieved from it.I feel very confident with the team and will certainly return for future installs. Always excellent, friendly service. Replaced the original 2012 cd analogue radio in my VW camper van with a new unit with touch screen, DAB and apple play. Works perfectly and the sound is so much better even without new speakers. A year later an additional reversing camera fitted, honouring a quote made a year before. No sales pressure. Would recommend to anybody.

I recently decided the sound system in my car just wasn’t good enough, but I wanted an installer who could give me a better quality sound rather than just loads of bass. After hearing their demo cars at the North West Audio show (a high-end home audio show) I settled on Source Sounds and following a detailed discussion of my needs we decided I should have a combination of Hertz and Audison components. I also wanted the car to look stock after installation and not to invalidate the manufacturers five year warranty (my car is only a month old). Installation took two days and I could not be happier. To say the sound quality is better is a vast understatement - it is literally transformed. It has gone from sounding like a ‘ghetto blaster’ to sounding like home separates! Poorly recorded music (early punk for example) sounds much better and a lot of fun - well recorded music sounds simply astonishing! I honestly can’t praise the blokes at Source Sounds highly enough. No matter what the level of stock system you have in your car (and I’ve heard most of them), Source Sounds can improve on it.

Lee, Paul and Chris are consummate professionals who love what they do and it clearly shows the moment you get to Source Sounds.As a car enthusiast finding a business you trust to work on and look after your car as much as you do is half the battle, the team recently installed front and rear dash cams and ghost on our cars. I won't hesitate to go back to Source Sounds for audio install work which is next on the agenda.Having emailed Lee back and forth since my GR Yaris was ordered his commitment and customer service are second to none.Chris' attention to detail on the install, making sure we were both 100% happy with location, fit and finish was brilliant and OEM+, down to trouble shooting the poor fitting parcel shelf that's standard on the Hyundai. I've no doubt he'd have fixed that too if we hadn't taken the car.Paul taking me through the setup and options on the kit again was crystal clear and the level of engaging conversation with a fellow car nut instils yet more confidence in the team. (Just ask about an upgrade to a certain Crewe based manufacturers most recent SUV).Overall the teams experience, attitude and attention to detail is evident in their work.
