It was delivered on time, it was very reasonably priced, the measurements were precise and the slate itself is absolutely stunning, full of character and texture. Wow! I ordered a slate hearth and sides for my new electric fire. Really large pieces with a smooth finish and minimal chamfers and the product I got was absolutely spectacular.It was not only beautifully finished and a beautiful bit of slate in and of itself with very minimal inconsistencies or fault lines etc. but also it was shipped so well and so protected so that it would’ve been impossible for it to be damaged on route. The even the driver at the end helped me move it into the garage which delivery drivers don’t always do that especially not if it’s 190 lbs of weight. you do obviously pay for this (it’s £110 delivery normally) but with hindsight it’s worth that. I just ordered another £1400 worth of windowsills with this company because they were so good so you can feel confident of that.

Very good customer experience, we received our hearth very quickly and were updated along the way. The slate is a beautiful blue black shade and will look great with our new woodburner once installed. Excellent prices for quality welsh slate.

We commissioned a slate kitchen surface on a very tight deadline with some tricky dimensions. We were very pleased with the outcome: cut and trimmed to a very high standard and beautifully finished. It looks great in the kitchen. I have no hesitation in recommending this company - and we'll come back for more work in the future.
