This is a beautiful old theatre in Edinburgh round the side of the Usher Hall. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They even have booster cushions for wee ones to sit on. The sound was great, I could hear every word. I was very impressed.

Went to the lyceum while visiting my son in Edinburgh. He took me to see the snow queen which was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The lyceum is a small, beautiful theatre. We were in the top circle and could see the stage and actors very well unlike in some much larger theatres. The staff were lovely and friendly. I definitely want to go back to this lovely theatre

Best play I've ever seen. Unicorn guy was very funny and so does Gerda, projections were done very good so thanks lighting crew. Everything went smoothly and nothing fell down, so thanks back of the house crew

As a 3rd year PhD student in Theatre snd Performance studies at the University of Edinburgh, I would highly recommend this venue. It’s a super classical traditional proscenium theatre that has great theatrical and retro vibes. First time being here, I enjoyed Dusk during the 2023 Edinburgh International Festival - the ushers are hospitable and the entire process was so smooth and audience-friendly. After all it’s a royal Lyceum theatre. It’s a must-go.

Frist time here. Got there early, and we had a few drinks at the bar before we were allowed to go toour seats. Went to see Samsara, and wow, it was beautiful to see, i would recommend seeing them. Staff friendly. As we booked late, there wasn't much choice in seats. I was unaware there was a piller blocking the view, it did say restricted view but thought it was restriction on not seeing a part of the left stage due to sitting on the left. I was able to move a few row down as no one was sitting there. They have lifted to get to second floor

Went to see Laurel and Hardy and it was brilliant. The theatre is absolutely beautiful it was my first time there in a long time. The bar area is very big and modern looking. The stage itself is nice and the staff were very friendly.

Snow Queen was great. Loved the Edinburgh twist to the story. Very talented musicians. Can't wait till my Granddaughter is old enough to go.

Easy to navigate. Disabled access. Lifts for wheelchair users and parents with baby buggies. The downstairs bar area has very little seating and tables

I went on the 19/08/23 to the Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh to see the performances of Phaedra/Minotaur. Both were beautifully presented and performed to a very high standard by all involved. Staff throughout the theatre are helpful and polite, and there is a comfortable bar and good restroom facilities.
