Thought I'd give them a second try a few months apart but still bland, tasteless food. Chicken chow mein is truly awful, I can't believe they make a living selling this stuff :/

We ordered from here a month ago, order took a long time to come (about 1hr and a half)We ordered tonight at 5pm and still waiting for our food now at 7:20pm!!! Will not be ordering again.

Consistently good food. My favourite Chinese takeaway. Not open Mondays. Update May 2023 - Still my favourite Chinese takeaway! Open until 11pm every night. Can now order online through Food Hub. COVID screens have been removed.

From other reviews, I can only assume this was a one-off. But the Fish and Chips I had last night were the worst ive had in over 10 years. Soggy, not very warm chips, well overcooked and tough fish with batter like leather. Just awful!

I’ve been going to Fay Von for years, they’re my go to Chinese and the best in my opinion. The food is always nice, the staff are friendly and there’s parking which is a bonus! Definitely recommend!

Spoke rudely on the phone.. gave me an absolute horrible stomach ache the next morning aswell. Noodles were dry and hard

I ordered two meals from Fay Von. 1 x beef and mushroom and 1 x Satay Chicken with Chilli. My family enjoyed the beef dish but the chicken satay meal was the worst thing I've eaten from a takeaway. It could've been any MSG loaded Chicken dish. There wasn't a hint of peanut or chilli used in the sauce. I called Fay Von to feedback to them directly before writing this review. Typical Chinese take away. Food is really tasty and you get value for your money, the cartons are filled to the top with food, so much so I quite often share one meal. We've tried several things from the menu and it's always nice. Service is usually pretty quick but we tend to pre-order on the phone to save waiting in the take away.
