Music Centre

As a local musician, I've been buying all my gear from The Music Centre for nearly 15 years which to date includes three guitars (two electric and one electro-acoustic, one of which is a second hand Gibson), two Marshall practise amps, three guitar capos, a full Alto PA system, six effects pedals, a Kinsman combo amplifier and so many sets of guitar strings, guitar tuners and leads that it could total in the thousands. The vast majority of that gear is still very much in use - you could say they are investments that earn themselves back.Bruce and Russell have extensive knowledge of musical gear, as well as decades worth of live music pedigree, and there's no stone they'll leave unturned in order to ensure your customer satisfaction. Bruce in particular is one of Bedford's most beloved and upstanding citizens, having been in a band with Freddie Mercury in India, fronting The A Band and being the stepfather of Guy Griffin, of Quireboys fame.There are even facilities on site for gear and instrument maintenance and repair.For all of your musical needs, The Music Centre is always the place to go in Bedfordshire.

I contacted Music Centre about repairing my guitar that had split at the neck/headstock, not knowing whether it would be the same again! They've just returned it to me and I'm amazed at how good it looks, you can barely see what was a really bad break! They also changed the strings and polished it up for me. They were really nice too and kept me updated throughout. They even brought it to my house as I am working today and couldn't get to the shop. Really so impressed! Excellent, faultless service and a more than reasonable price. Will definitely use these guys again and recommend :) thanks so much Music Centre!

Lovely shop , very knowledgeable staff nobody is pushy they'd rather make sure you get what you really need not just get a sale of the dearest item , and they're all great musicians in each of their genre's .The store holds lots and lots of stock and is all at nice prices !Well worth a visit *****

Brilliant store & extremely helpful crew of musical. I have brought several students to buy classical guitars from them & each time they went home with a lovely Cordoba guitar. They have everything from complete beginner guitars for a small price all the way to solid bodied guitars at very good prices. My students have all fallen in love with their instruments. I live in Somerset now & there is nothing in Dorset/Somerset with nice, mid range classical guitars. I'm visiting friends in Bedfordshire so we popped by the store to look at guitars. I'm now bringing home a lovely Cordoba guitar for my private student in Dorset. Big thank you to the Music Centre team.

Excellent, friendly Service.I wanted a left-handed guitar and of course I looked online first, and they are either as rare as hen's teeth or expensive.Contacted the Music Centre, and it really turned out to be what I should have done first.They had a second Hand Les Paul copy in, which suited me fine, and Danny went above and beyond to help me choose what I needed - nothing pushy, no hard-selling of the accessories, just friendly advice and a great deal on what I did buy.I ended up with the guitar, amp, case, stand etc, all for a great price, and I will certainly be going back there for all my future accessories and music equipment.
