Top notch customer service! I called to get advice about fixing two lawnmowers and even though it turned out that I could do some at-home bodges the gentleman at the store gave me very helpful instructions. I was very thankful that he took time out of his day to assist, despite the fact that I wasn't providing him with more business. Would be the first place I turn to when I need a proper repair!

Very knowledgeable about the products they sale and excellent aftercare service. They also service and repair other brands and will be honest about the cost of repair vs replacement. After learning the hard way buying products from big stores that are lucky to survive a year because they are cheaply made, I now wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks HGM.

I feel I must report my most unsatisfactory experience with Hampshire Garden Machinery. Their publicity just does not measure up to the service they did NOT provide. My Flymo Strimmer Head was left with them for repair in April. I was advised that they would call me when it reached the front of their work list as they were really busy. I had a call in early June requesting I deliver the battery to them, to power the strimmer head. It was then that they told me they could not actually find my strimmer. Later they admitted they had lost it. But never fear, its here somewhere, they said, well keep looking. I was promised a call with a progress report. It never happened, so i have had to call them every week for the past 4 weeks. Its still not been found. I think I have spoken to everyone from the Office Girl, the Apprentice, the Mechanic and uncle Tom Cobley as well. Nobody can find my srtimmer. Each one promises that MARTIN, the manager will call me. He just doesn't. I have been verbally promised a replacement but that has not been confirmed.SO WHERE AM I NOW? Its 4months since they took it in for evaluation and repair. I HAVE NO STRIMMER. I cant even take it away to someone else for repair. THEY AGREE THAT THEY HAVE LOST IT, BUT HAVE NOT OFFERED ANY APOLOGY, ANY REPLACEMENT OR EVEN A PHONE CALL.If I ever get it back, fixed or otherwise, I certainly wont ever go back there with my other machinery.Go there at your own risk.....CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ZERO
