Had a great night. I'm not sure how often but a group where there for a Ukulele night. Great music, good atmosphere had a fun night. Really crowded not for the faint-hearted. Real old town pub.

Nice traditional pub. Two real ales on tap. A lively atmosphere upon my visit. There was live music and people were happy. Reasonable prices. I’ll be back.

The Nelson was the start and end of the 2023 Carnival Treasure Hunt. It was literally wall to wall with people. It was truly a fun place to be.

Used to drink here in the 80s remember fisherman used to drink here lots of atmosphere but lacking now any personality sadly but still good juke box

Did not have food. Live band on great atmosphere, everyone enjoyed the music.. service was fantastic quick and friendly. Just a brilliant time.

I love this pub, great staff, proper locals and a pint of lovely crisp San Miguel for only £4.40. On a summers day, perfect to sit outside in the sun and watch the world go by with the juke box on.
