Cozy, friendly with excellent beers...not much you could ask for there.However, a wider range of single malts, gluten free beers & snacks would be appreciated.

A decent clean local with a selection of wines, spirits, casks ales and lagers to choose from. From time to time there will be a band on, quiz night wednesday night and awesome staff. You cant go wrong.

Absolutely fantastic place but below average portions of meat on carvery. I got a large carvery and my mate got normal size. Yet my mate got more meat. I'm not one to make a fuss especially with it being another mates local. So keep an eye on portion sizes

Years since I'd been...the renovation is good quality and bar staff friendly. Beer good too. But...and a big but...every room is dominated by huge TV screens. At least one room, e.g. the 'snug' should be free from intrusive TV
