Don't go by the name, this place will not have many Indian Vegetables options for you to try from. It's a family owned restaurant serving very selective items. The the choices are limited but the food taste is great. It's very close to what you would expect from a subcontinent home. The serving is fast and the taste is authentic. The overall experience gets even better if you make your mind in advance looking at the menu rather than going there and getting a bit turned down by finding the limited set offering. The prices are reasonable too. Overall a good choice for some Desi food.

Sabzi's is one of my most favourite restaurants in Edinburgh. I've had breakfast, lunch, dinner and takeaway from here and i've never been disappointed. The team are absolute legends and will go to any length to make sure you have a great meal. I'd highly recommend booking for Friday and Saturday nights as these are typically totally booked out. They are also trying to extend their opening hours, so hopefully Edinburgh council will support this and Sabzi's can be open much later.

I can't recommend SABZI highly enough. Delicious food and some of the best curry I have ever had. It's ideal for friends and family to sit down and share, in a relaxed environment. The staff are lovely and make you feel like they have invited you to dinner in their home. A real Edinburgh gem!

Wonderful neighbourhood restaurant serving the best Punjabi food.A must-go location, everytime we visit Edinburgh.A complete family-run triumph from top to bottom, we are so jealous of all the lucky people who live much closer to Sabzi than we do.Visuting Sabzi is just like being warmly welcomed into someone's home for a meal......but the best meal you'll eat that month!

Wow, I'm so impressed and will always remember my experience here. The best Punjabi café, breakfast, lunch and dinner service, super friendly, family-run, the most vibrant and joyous ambience. We absolutely loved it. If I lived in the area, I'd go every day. Indian/Pakistani/Desi food, vegetarian and non-vegetarian, even Scottish-fusion options and even some vegan options. So good.

This place is absolute magic, there’s no two ways about it. Have been for dinner and for breakfast, and both were hands down two of the best meals of my life. Staff are so friendly and welcoming and the space has a lovely atmosphere to it; I especially like the window seats. The team deserve all the praise and recognition they get.

I worked hard trying to support local businesses during 2021, and I had fun doing it.Sabzi is easily in my top three discoveries. The little family restaurant might be my top one.The food here is delicious. I've tested the menu often. It changes every week and every week I want to go back. I'm yet to find anything that wasn't perfect.Sabzi is great for vegans, vegetarians and even better for flexiterians like myself. The menu is small, as the food is fresh, made in sensible quantities, and there is one thoughtful meat option each week. Delicious food and lovely friendly service. The Dahl was unbelievably buttery and the breads fantastic. A few unusual dishes you wouldn't normally see and a regularly changing menu- we will be back!

This week had lamb bahji on the menu which tasted incredible, the lamb was tender and the sauce was flavourful but not too rich or spicy. Chill atmosphere with very friendly staff.
