I just passed my driving test at Mill Hill today! Jo was my driving instructor throughout the process and I can highly recommend her if looking for a top-notch experienced teacher.I'm American and have been driving for many years but needed the experience and confidence for driving in London. Jo was very clear in her teaching instructions, calm, and supportive. She is professional and easy to get along with. At the beginning of the lesson she would explain what we would focus on that day. Throughout the lesson she would point out strengths and weaknesses and at the end summarize what areas to work on.I personally felt more comfortable with a female instructor and after many hours trying to find the right instructor for me, I was glad to have found her. Easy communication for arranging lessons by text, was flexible with my schedule, always on time and a fair hourly rate. Thanks Jo!

Joanna knows exactly what you need from your first few lessons, and tailors her lessons to suit your driving ability. You could do hours and hours of driving yet not improve just like how I was with my previous instructor; yet Joanna tailors every driving lesson to your current driving ability to ensure that every lesson is fruitful. Her years of experience have allowed her to know central London inside out, and she can find new routes for you to pick up new skills every lesson. She prepares you not only for the test routes, but also every skill needed in operating a manual car.I am now far from the nervous wreck when simply navigating right turns at the start, and can confidently handle dual carriageways now. I am extremely happy to have changed instructors midway as I managed to meet Joanna, and have finally passed my test with her! I would recommend her to anyone, male or female, as Joanna is extremely friendly and fun, and would definitely make your lessons a joy.

Joanna is the most wonderful driving instructor you could hope to find. Even in hectic central london she's calm and endlessly patient. So reliable, friendly and fun - actually miss not having lessons with her anymore!Would definitely recommend her to any of my friends.

I found Joanna via a Google search in early 2023. I am making a career move into estate agency and so I needed to pass my driving test fast to be able to apply for jobs. I previously experienced an terrible intensive driving course in 2022 that had left me with zero confidence on the road and so I wasn’t even sure I could handle a manual car again. From the very first lesson, Joanna was calm, patient and friendly and encouraged me to do my very best. Within a couple of lessons we had moved from gentle practice in slow London streets to the traffic of Notting Hill, Maida Vale and the Harrow Road - and my confidence absolutely skyrocketed. Joanna’s technical training of manoeuvres was flawless and I am so happy knowing I can drive anywhere, in any traffic situation, calmly and efficiently. I passed my test a few days ago with just 2 minor faults; I am so chuffed and honestly I could not have done it without Joanna. If you’re looking for a truly 5* driving instructor, you’ve found her! Joanna is an incredible driving teacher. I nervously returned to learning to drive this year after some bad experiences with teachers in the past. I hadn't driven for 10 years, and was particularly scared of driving in central London. Joanna made me feel at ease and built my confidence from the very first lesson. She's relentlessly positive and exceptionally calm, and adapts her teaching methods to fit the needs and personality of each of her students. She also has a great sense of humour, and makes driving fun. I've just passed my test thanks to Joanna. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Joanna was absolutely amazing throughout my lessons. She was positive, attentive and very clear with all instructions when teaching me to drive. I started my lessons in March 2022 and having never driven before I was nervous and excited all rolled into one. I was having my lessons weekly and with Joanna’s continued support through every scenario imaginable I passed my test 1st time in October 2022. I could never have done this without Joanna’s continued support, understanding and help. I will be forever grateful to Joanna for helping prepare for and pass my test !!
