Better Build Landscapes Limited

We have just completed a 4 month project with Better Build and are not in the least surprised that all of the reviews give a 5 star rating. A challenging project came in on time and to budget. Despite often poor conditions, Phil and Joe worked on and were never less than cheerful. They exhibited all the qualities for which they are commended in their reviews; not just customer care but a depth of knowledge, breadth of experience, strong work ethic and pride in what they do that produces outstanding results. Now that they’re finished we are left with a sympathetic and thoughtful design brought to life by the highest quality of workmanship. If you are looking for high end garden design and first class build quality, you won,t do better than Better Build.

Phil and Joe have just finished our garden and I don't know how to write a review that gives them enough credit for the job they've done. They have been absolutely fantastic from start to finish - reliable, trustworthy, hardworking, with amazing attention to detail. Phil is totally committed to delivering a first class service and to ensuring a quality finish and he's made several recommendations throughout the project which have definitely improved and enhanced the finished look. Phil and Joe are also a delight to have around (my kids loved them, as did the neighbours!), and they just made the whole thing from start to finish hassle free - which you don't often say about a four month renovation. I just simply couldn't recommend them more highly, so if you get a chance to get these guys to do your work... Book them without hesitation.

When I was looking around for a landscaper to do my patio and lawn I was chatting to a person in the trade about the people I was considering. Once he heard me mention Better Build he told me to look no further as in his view they were the best. Having now seen the finished garden, he was right!! I would recommend them to anyone. Congratulations to Phil and Joe for a job superbly done.

Phil and Joe came to me at the end of August 2022 and worked tirelessly for a month to create the most amazing back garden space and a brand new front garden too. From quotation stage right through to completion they were professional, hard working and generally really nice guys. I am incredibly indecisive but Phil helped me make all the right decisions for my garden and the end result is frequently admired by people walking by. I often get random people coming to have a look at the back garden having watched the progress throughout September. Needless to say, the feedback is very positive and many people have commented on the quality of the finish and how hard they worked. Phil and Joe both went above and beyond throughout the process including playing patiently with my children when they got in the way! It’s clear that they take great pride in their work and the final result is a real credit to them. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone, they are genuinely very talented and hardworking guys. Just make sure you’ve got the toastie maker warmed up for when they arrive! We had our driveway relayed by Phil and his team in 2023.I must say it’s the most professional job we have had from any builder at any property we have conducted.They were here everyday without fail for three months, and the focus was always on how they left the job at the end of the day. We have several cars and a large drive, but every day they managed to find a way to keep us with access, which looking back is incredible.There were little bridges constructed so we could get to the house every night, and we never got any dust or mess in the house.After having problems with other building projects before, I suppose I was a bit distant and kept away, was a bit mean with coffee etc, which I feel a bit bad about now as the job was brilliant.With regards to workmanship it is amazing and on top of that occasionally we would get a knock at the door with suggestions that could improve the whole area, which in the end we took them up on after seeing the drive evolve. So we added a few extras which made the whole project much better.Would I recommend them? Without doubt this is at another level of builder. Their consideration for the client is the best there is and the workmanship is to match.From having a bad situation, I now have a great one and I thank them for it.Apologies I was a bit poor on the coffee front, nothing personal and thank you for an excellent job well done.We are now a few months after completion and it’s flawless. I cannot recommend highly enough.

We are delighted with the brilliant job that Better Build have recently made of remodelling our multi-levelled garden. Working with Mark, the designer, they came up with a practical and attractive design for us, that also took account of our thoughts and ideas. Phillip and Joe were always very polite, punctual and friendly. The work was carried out to a very high standard, and was completed within the promised time scale and budget. The banter was good too!!We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Better Build landscaped our garden during summer 2023. They did an excellent job and we would highly recommend them. It’s fair to say Better Build achieved a total transformation of our garden, taking it from an overgrown and frankly unsafe outdoor space to a slick, contemporary garden that suits our young family much better and is perfect for entertaining.The services performed by Better Build included installation of a new retaining wall, feature steps, porcelain paving, decking, custom water feature, turf lawn and planting. The quality of work was brilliant and we were also impressed by how tidy the site was kept and the suggestions that were made throughout the project to enhance and bring the original design to life.Thanks so much for creating a beautiful, multi-functional outdoor space for us. We are absolutely thrilled with it.

Phil and Joe converted a very tatty space into a beautiful space. They removed an old greenhouse, levelled a slope to make a patio and put down a super smart base for our new garden room. They laid some beautiful stone paths and built two sturdy sets of steps. They also turfed an area that was a wasteland of rotting railway sleepers and it now looks neat and tidy.However, not only did they achieve all the above in record time, they did it with humour, diligence, terrific attention to detail and good nature.
