Footsteps School of Dancing

Nigel and Deborah put the fun back into ballroom and Latin using all their years of experience to instruct the class with patience and lots of humour. My level has improved very well over the years I have been dancing with them. Thank u Nigel and Deborah !

I have been going to Footsteps school of dancing for many years. Nigel and Deborah are professional dance teachers, however they make the lessons so much fun with lots of laughter. I have also been on their dancing holidays and they are fantastic with lots of different things going on and good value for money. I hope to continue dancing with them for many years to come and I can highly recommend them to anyone who wants to learn to dance and have fun at the same time.

We had tried a few dance venues before we found Nigel and Deborah's dance lessons and we were so pleased to have kept looking. Their fabulous dance knowledge, endless patience and relaxed classes were always a pleasure to attend. We thoroughly enjoyed the classes, social events and even organised dance weekends away. They work extremely hard to ensure everyone progresses no matter what level or how quickly dances are picked up. We would definitely recommend and happily re-join when we return to Bedfordshire.

Deb and I have been learning to dance with Nigel and Deborah for 5 years now. We have had a fantastic time learning the Latin and Ballroom dances. We have been away with Footsteps on several of their dance holidays and have had a great time with them and making new friends. Both Nigel and Deborah are great dance teachers and we enjoy learning new steps and routines and getting their positive feedback to help us fine tune our technique. We thoroughly recommend their dance school to anyone that wants to learn how to dance and to those that want to improve.

We have been attending Footsteps for a number of years now. The dance lessons are fun, a great way to keep fit and meet people. Nigel and Deborah have years of experience of teaching and each lesson is informative and encouraging. The social evenings are always fun and give us a chance to put into practice what we have learnt as well as Deborah and Nigel being on hand to give us tips and encouragement. There is also a chance to do some Sequence and line dancing if you want to join in.Their Dance holidays are exceptional. They organise great dance evenings and lessons during the day if you wish to join in, all overseen by Deborah and Nigel. Nigel and Deb know how to hold a really fun session while actually teaching you to dance. I have been attending the Modern Line Dance class for many years and I'd have to be on my hands and knees to miss it. If there were more stars, I would award them all.Arline

As a complete beginner to ballroom and latin dancing I managed to complete a year of weekly lessons before COVID struck. The lessons were enjoyable and I felt I was making good progress in several of the dances progressing to the extra steps lessons fairly rapidly. Nigel and Deborah are very professional, make you welcome and can instruct you very well from beginner to advanced level. Fully recommended.

My husband and I have been taking ballroom and Latin dance lessons with Footsteps School of Dancing since 2014. We started as complete beginners and progressed to extra steps classes with encouragement and great teaching.New steps are always well communicated and repeated until the class has mastered them before moving forward on to the next sequence, so the pace of the lessons never feels rushed. Individual feedback is also given during lessons so there is always something to help you improve.Nigel and Deborah are welcoming, friendly and supportive teachers. They are very professional, but at the same time make learning to dance great fun.We have also had private lessons with Nigel, which we really enjoyed and found extremely useful. They are tailored to your personal needs and requirements and we found it really helped to concentrate on a couple of dances in particular. This enabled us to master more of the technique on a one to one basis.We have also been on many of the dance holidays provided by Footsteps and had a wonderful time dancing and socialising with all the other dancers and firm friends that we have made.Unfortunately we have had to take a break due to health issues but can't wait to return as soon as we are able.I thoroughly recommend learning to dance with Footsteps" and just wish we had started earlier!"

I didn't realize that modern line dancing could be so much fun until I joined the Footsteps School of Dance classes with Nigel. It's a great way to exercise whilst learning to dance to modern songs, in a friendly environment with such lovely people, I just love it. Why not come along and join us I'm sure you will enjoy it.
