Had my tonsils (partially) removed in mid March, discharged with paracetamol and ibuprofen. Those painkillers weren’t controlling the pain in the slightest. Got my husband to call up for something stronger but he was told that once they’d discharged me I was no longer under them and would have to contact William Harvey, Ashford. Managed to get my GP to prescribe me some codeine which helped. A month later I realised they hadn’t fully removed my tonsils which I don’t understand as it’s a procedure they do often and on the day that I went in all of us (8+ patients) were having the same procedure.4 months down the line I’m still having trouble with the remaining tonsil.
