Mimi's Bakehouse
Breakfast at Mimi's which was superb.Service and food was excellent. This is the fourth time we have been to Mimi's and it gets better with each visit.

Lovely stay in this bakery. I remember being here 9 years prior for my first visit to Edinburgh. It was a pleasure to come back again for the second, it was just as delicious as I had remembered. Would strongly recommend their Mimi’s Scottish Blend and Oreo cupcakes, but honestly, any pick will be beyond your expectations. It was lovely to stop here after our walk toward Lieth, alongside the Water Lieth.

Mimi’s Christmas Afternoon Tea was such a beautiful and delicious part of our celebrations and get together. The tea service (and the savouries and pot pie especially!) were truly delightful, the service was helpful, and the ambience just perfect. The savouries are really the best I have had in an afternoon tea set anywhere and the touch of crackers placed for us at the table was just so thoughtful. Highly recommend it

Lovely place, very good sandwiches (tried the one with Milano salami) as well as good cakes and scones. I was expecting a little bit more for the cake and the coffees but overall a great place to have a brunch or a scone!

Nos encantó!!!Le doy 5 estrellas porque no puedo darle 6!!Nunca antes había tenido una experiencia de afternoon tea y creo que no podría haber elegido otro sitio mejor para la primera vez.La decoración del local es exquisita, elegante, alegre y con un toque pin up. El personal de 10!! agradables, muy serviciales, pero sin agobiar, nos explicaron todo y atendieron todas nuestras peticiones amablemente. La comida estuvo toda de lujo, los sándwiches y salados deliciosos y sorprendentes (el salmón merece por si mismo un capítulo aparte), la bandeja de los pasteles exquisita, al punto de hacer que literalmente se me pusiera la piel de gallina con el cupcake de carrot cake, algo que no me había pasado nunca. Y para el final lo mejor… unos deliciosos, esponjosos y apetecibles scones acompañados de una clotted cream de una textura increíblemente suave. Y por supuesto el té, en mi caso un aromático Earl Grey servido en tetera del que según nos dijeron podíamos repetir tanto cómo quisiéramos… yo sólo pude tomarme una ;) aunque estaba exquisito.En cuanto al precio… pagar 20€ por persona por todo lo que he contado antes no me parece caro en absoluto.Así que lo recomiendo sin ninguna duda, pero eso si, antes de ir… reserva! y asegúrate de ir con mucha hambre!! … aunque si sobra, que sobrará, te lo preparan todo en un paquete tan bonito y delicioso como para no desentonar del resto.Muchas gracias a todo el equipo de Mimi’s por la tarde tan deliciosa que pasamos con vosotros. Ojalá poder repetir.

First class food and service, not surprised they have won so many awards. We visited on a Friday lunchtime, looked like a mother and toddler group had turned out so it a bit loud!! Highly recommended. Visited a couple of times since, still good. Table booking via website recommended at busy times, weekends etc.. No designated parking.

Ah, Mimi's bakehouse in Leith, where the chai latte tasted like it took a detour through a flavorless desert before reaching my cup. It left my taste buds so confused; they started questioning their life choices. The birthday cake slice, on the other hand, must have been baked with sugar from Willy Wonka's factory – I could practically feel my teeth wincing with each bite.But fear not, dear pastry pilgrim, for even in the land of taste bud misadventures, Mimi's had its redeeming qualities. The scenic location next to the river was like a visual dessert for my eyes, providing a picturesque distraction from the sugary onslaught happening inside my mouth. It's as if the bakery whispered, Fear not

Such a lovely place to have a break from everything. We just have a flat white, cappuccino and scottish Rocky Road, but the feeling of this place is superb. Lovely service, variety of items to choose from and the location.Keep it up. Great place, check yourself.

Excellent location near the Shore. Easy access by bus, 16/35 stops right in front. Breakfast chips are amazing. The breakfast sandwich had a copious amount of ooey gooey cheese. Scones are the size of my hand with smooth cream.
