I ordered some mouldings which I needed pretty quickly and they arrived in a couple of days, nice wood, very well packaged, at a great price. Pictures now framed and with the exhibition.

Had literally dozens of damaged deliveries from Lion and they refuse to listen to customer feedback and improve their processes. They have some excellent, helpful staff who always resend damaged stock but the amount of waste generated is completely unacceptable. We’re all trying to run ethical and environmentally responsible businesses but that’s impossible if suppliers refuse to package goods properly and have to resend them. Add to that the lost man hours wasted unpacking and disposing of damaged stock and they’re not a particularly cost effective supplier.

So I ordered online and paid accordingly through the website. They then decided to take more money because they didn't have the best lengths in stock" now have to wait for the delivery and send it back to get my money back. Awful company with an awful system... Do not use."

The price of my order changed when I logged in, meaning I missed the free delivery level by 95p. Instead I was charged £14.25 plus VAT for delivery. I tried raise this and appeal for common sense but was refused. Have used lion for 10 plus years but will be finding another supplier now. Such a shame!Shane even said in an email “there are many instances of this happening to customers and we understand it’s frustrating”. Obviously not just me it’s happened to!

I think lion are pretty good. They serve my business well and always sort out any problems. The sales team are very clued in to the business and have a good manner in dealing with problems as they arise and if they arise. Also they're chop service is exceptional for the way my business works.

I've used Lion on a weekly basis for a number of years now. Nice products, always doing their best to keep up with trends. Pricing is competitive and customer service is the best there is. Highly recommend.

Helpful and usually efficient. Things go wrong in every business and what really impresses me is their willingness to acknowledge and effectively deal with any issues I may have. I also like the fact that they have a field rep who regularly visits to discuss ways he can help me. Overall Lion are a very good partner. Sometimes a bit expensive.

Just a little word of warning as the company fails to present information clearly on the product page.If you order stretcher bars or any other form of moulding you will often get a minimum quantity of about three metres. So if you order five different one metres pieces and you pay for them at checkout you will get five pieces measuring about three metres each with an invoice that has suddenly doubled.After I contacted the company the only option was to return everything all together including the lengths that I have already used. There was no understanding from the companies side at all.

We have used Lion for many years for picture framing supplies so were a little concerned to find we would now have to use on line ordering for moulding etc asthis is delicate and fragile to transport. We rang to place an order and were guided by a very pleasant lady who advised us to order on line to avoid delivery charges - thank you !We ordered successfully and the framing arrived next day - great. Unfortunately, as we had feared, one length was damaged so rang to inform Lion. Wonderful response by helpful salesperson who immediately offered refund or replacement. Requested replacement which arrived promptly 2 days later - perfect ! Brilliant service . The moulding is superb and the service we have received has been excellent.
