Authentic Indian (Gujarati) vegetarian sweets and snacks available here. Busy place with very friendly staff. I have tried a lot of snacks, bhajji, Pakoda, methi Paratha, chat everything is top class. I would recommend Paneer spring roll and jalebi as not to be missed. You get Rakhi and Ganesha idols in season.

I went in for Samosas, lady served me with courtesy and even asked if I wanted sauce which really is a rarity in the Midlands and North.Usually you have to ask and even then many are not so forthcoming so I really liked that.The samosa itself was well balanced, not spicy and not bland and the sauce complemented it well.They fry them fresh for you or have an unfried option.I have to say this was one of the least greasy Samosas I've had. Usually oil is dripping everywhere in other places, I didn't feel bloated either and could eat a couple in one go.I also tried their Besan laddoo which not many sweet shops stock. Again I found it well rounded and balanced, not too sweet either.Will be going back to try other items soon.

I couldn't get my uber app to work. I went into the restaurant for help in calling a taxi or Uber. The gentleman there, Mr Odedra, went all out, to help my daughter and I. While we waited, Mr Odedra was narrating to me how he helped some elderly people get food during the covid period, and even while talking, he was actually helping yet another person who happened to stop there. Suraj Sweet centre not only make great foods, but their kind heart and gesture, was total heaven. God bless.

A little gem that has never disappointed. Been a regular customer now for over 12 years and the bhaajis and the khandvi are absolute screamers for attention. Getting a parking on the Sparkhill main road can be an ordeal in its own right but the public parking on Nansen Road is just a minute’s walk and costs only .70p for an hour. Next time you are in Birmingham don’t hesitate to take a detour to Suraj. Oh, the customer service is top notch

I have been here many times and brought family and friends along too. the welcome is outstanding and friendly and the sweets and savouries are outstanding. Excellent quality and they even let you try before buying. Cater for diabetics as well.. I have been to other sweet centres in the proximity but none are so good. I would recommend you buy your sweets and savouries here if you want an excellent friendly service with a smile from everyone serving you coupled with delicious food which keeps me going there nearly every week. You certainly won’t be disappointed and will keep going back just like I do. Recommend to your friends as wellChris.

Located in an extremely busy street in Birmingham. They don't close at 7 pm as mentioned, they are open longer randomly. No dedicated parking spot, which means you will have to park quite far and walk over unless really lucky. Staff is over talkative amongst themselves and on the phone with wireless headsets, even when serving customers.The sweets are so so, nothing great. Bought Kaaju Katli and Motichor laddoo with some other snacks. Nothing special and definitely not that good for us to return after ignoring all the cons of this place.
