I emailed 4 weeks ago and asked about an allergy to MSG. Sadly no response.When I eventually got toContact the restaurant they do use it. Shame as other restaurants now don’t rely on awful additive to make foodTaste ok.

Another great evening at the Maple Tree, the best Chinese in our area. The food is always cooked fresh, service is excellent and Sunny takes time to get to know each table even playing happy birthday on his harmonica for myPartner! Always such a treat and I would highly recommend

Maple Tree in Marple Bridge
We went for my friends birthday and Sunny was an excellent host and server. He even sang happy birthday with his harmonica! Food was excellent. We had a great half duck to start with spring rolls and for main sizzling chicken in black bean sauce was superb. Will 100% go again even though we’re from London.

Had such a lovely evening at Maple Tree. Sunny and his team were very hospitable and made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious, with very decent sized portions.We will most definitely be returning.

Visiting for 1st time 28th Oct 2023 Very warmly greeted. We had the set meal and the food was cooked to perfection and plenty of it as the food just kept arriving on the table.A good selection of drinks were available. We were a party of 8 plenty of room around the table, nice comfatable atmosphere in the restaurant which was very busy. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff, and as for the proprietor what a Really nice person Sunny is. He kept checking to see that everything was ok.This was our first visit and it most certainly will not be the last.Hopefully we will be back in December to try more of Sunnys great food. The ribs are really something to be seen and eaten, proper ribs with plenty of meat on them not like you get from your local Chinese chippy. The occasion was Sandra's birthday and Sunny played happy birthday to Sandra on his harmonica while the rest of us sang happy birthday to her. I feel like I have made a new friend in Sunny in making us most welcome, and what a really nice and sincere man he is. An excellent experience all round and I would definitely recommend the Maple Tree Restaurant. It is easy to find on the main street in Marple Bridge.Many thanks to Sunny and his staff for a throughly enjoyable evening and food. And a throughly enjoyable experience all round.

The best chinese restaurant I've been to. The food was lovely, the portions were quite huge, which I really enjoyed after a long hike! The owner and the stuff are such a lovely people. Definitely I'm gonna be back there one day!

Maple Tree in Marple Bridge
Had a lovely evening with friends. The food was fantastic. We really enjoyed the set menu, but could happily have chosen anything from the main menu. It all sounded great. The staff are all relaxed and very friendly, with the owner coming personally to greet us and returning to us several times to check we were enjoying ourselves. Such a lovely family atmosphere. Will definitely be going back.

A great find on the strength of previous reviews. Excellent service and the quality of the food was top drawer. Sunny entertained my daughter, whose birthday it was, with a rendition of 'Happy Birthday to you' on his harmonica. A lovely touch.Good value and a lovely friendly atmosphere. Already looking forward to going again.

Diabolical, food was very salty over spicy, untrained kids serving.Two adults one child two small bottles of beer. Wife and I had a starter of spring rolls and s+p chicken wings. Mains my child had starter of spare ribs for main mealI had fillet beef b,bean sauce very salty and over spicy, with noodles even these where overly spicy. Wife had sweet,sour chicken, ended up with a bill for £93!And had to constantly ask for card reader to pay bill.Won't be going again .

6 of us went for a meal all the food was lovely and nicely presented. Staff all friendly great evening
