Visited Papua’s fish and chip on 07/09/2023, The owner was so welcoming and such a lovely person I asked for a small fish and chips and he ended giving me a extra portion of fish on the house , The fish and chips were perfect , crispy from the out side soft from the in, Clean and fresh much better than Mother hubbards , Will definitely visit again

Been years since I tried this and was craving some fish and chips, ordered a LARGE fish and chips which was £9 and as you can see the size of the fish was pathetic! First I confirmed to him it was a fish and not a battared sausage because I genuinely thought it was a battared sausage. 80% chips and rest is this measely excuse of a large fish! Took me 5 mins to get home so it didn't get sweaty or anything, chips were soft barely crunchy and the batter on the fish was not crispy, taste wise... Not allot! Waste of journey and £9 won't be going there again!

Ok chip shop. The portions are a bit tight for the price that you pay. The chips are ok Fish was not the best. Better off going to Crown Island Chip Shop or Mother Hubbards if you want a nice piece of fish .
