I can highly recommend C.M.Smith Plumbing & Heating. They quickly and efficiently came to repair our toilet. Very friendly and reasonably priced too.

Chris and his son Steven installed a power shower for us last July. They placed plastic, protective sheeting on the carpets. Co-ordination with the electricians was seamless. Finishing touches to the tiling was immaculate.Chris carries a smart phone so always responds promptly by e-mail or phone. He is honest, professional, experienced and trustworthy. He always arrives when he says he will.If anyone asked me for the details of a good plumber, I would not hesitate to recommend CM Smith Plumbing.

Had a call out by this plumbing heating engineer to fix (load irregular noises)our Ideal gas combi boiler.On arrival,he immediately asked if we had any brochure/leaflet regarding maintenance or repair of our 6yrs old boiler. Didn't do much for our confidence in arranging this call out! Spent most of his time examining boiler with provided handbook in the other hand.Found it necessary to phone Ideal company to get further insight etc .Simply removed condensate and clean.Told that was approx only 20 min job . No other work carried out, boiler noises continued.Disputed Invoice £132 received ( remains outstanding as Mr Smith told me on our initial phone call he was fully qualified and experienced with Ideal boilers ,after all they have been established for some 147 years.

We have used C M Smith Plumbing & Heating on two occasions in the last year:1. A complete refit of one of our bathrooms; new floor; replace a shower unit with a bath/shower; move sink; and lastly re-tile the walls with some very 'finicky' tile work. Job well done!2. A simple problem with underfloor heating; British Gas backed up with jobs; C M Smith stepped in at short notice.Highly recommend their services!
