Had a great stay at Bluebird Sands. The host was lovely and helpful if needed. The accommodation is home from home with the added bonus of a hot tub to chill in at the end of a day of exploring. The beach and shops are on your doorstep. The beds are comfy and you wake up feeling refreshed. Enjoyed our little break away.

Perfect location for exploring Kent and East Sussex. Comfortable and well equipped property with lovely views of the countryside. Special mention to Ronnie and Reggie the resident donkeys.

Rockmount is a great property in a really quiet and lovely location. The lookout is a great place to sit and watch the boats or the weather rolling past. The house has everything you need for your stay. There are lots of steps to get to the front door or a walk up a very steep driveway but not a real issue unless you have mobility problems. Our pooch is a bit of a lap dog in an evening, after a good walk and we always take our own throws to protect furniture but it was really nice that the owners had also provided one for you to use. The walk down to St Margret's bay from the Dover memorial is lovely, but it is a steep climb back up the hill. We ate in both the Smugglers and Coastguards inn, the lighthouse cafe, and pines cafe, and can recommend all - good food, dog friendly, welcoming friendly staff. The bay at Sandwich is a great place to visit especially at low tide. A great expanse of sand, not the usual pebbles and can walk for miles with the dog off lead. The lodge at Princes Golf club has a nice seating area and a dog friendly bar, even providing treats for your hound. it does cost £8 to park on the Sandwich estate but we think it is worth it and did it twice. Hot chocolate from the Lodge afterwards sitting in the sun - what more could you want.

Great location on the 5th floor of a block of 15 flats. The views are amazing!! So here is my honest opinion, when arriving parking is a serious issue, the front door is up a street with no parking, and the car parks are expensive and a good distance away. When you enter the door to the apartment entrance don’t be put off as it will be full of post parcels and needs a lick of paint!!The lift is small but adequate.Upon getting into the apartment we found it to be clean and tidy. We personally could have used a microwave, more freezer space and variety of glasses. The seating area is terrible, for 3 persons it was a struggle, 1 modern chair that is very difficult to get out of and an old chesterfield sofa bed which unfortunately was so old and not comfortable to sit on even to watch a movie. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great but I do wish they would put mirrors on the wall in the bedroom as usually most occupants would be applying make up and drying hair, this way the bathrooms aren’t tied up and the drying of hair isn’t being carried out in the lounge area. The restaurants and bars are fabulous and all easy walking distance. We had a great week, blessed with the weather, so hot we bought fans for each of the bedrooms and left them for the next occupants.Perfect location, nearly perfect apartment but please watch out for the parking!!We had a great holiday ! And yes would return.

Beautiful house and garden in the countryside. The area is ideal for hiking and there are a couple of lovely pubs nearby.

Very peaceful time on the farm with lovely hosts. Recharged my batteries being close to nature. Enjoyed the villages and coastal sight-seeing and enjoyed the country drives away from the London chaos. Well worth going into the countryside.

Really convenient booking website, and our host in Kent (Shepherd's Cottage) had a great cottage ready for us so we could explore the area, but also hang at the home on bad weather days. I would recommend the site to anyone for it's ease of use and clear communication throughout the booking process and leading up to our stay.

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay in Deal. The holiday house was spacious with touches of luxury and ideally located. Our communications with Original Cottages clear and helpful and it was good to have a customer account to log in to and keep track of the booking.
