Bearpark Surgery

Great staff. Friendly & efficient. Clean & well maintained building.

Receptionists are totally incompetent and do not listen, they think they know better than the doctors them selves.This surgery has to be the worst surgery going for changing GPs constantly.

For the few times I have visited the surgery, I have been served with satisfaction. When calling to make appointments, the lines are very busy especially morning hours. I once spent 8 hours in AE but later went straight to surgery and my son was attended immediately. The doctor also made a call later to find out how he was doing which was very kind. Thank you Dr. Cook. The nurse I have encountered at the surgery is very kind. The nurse practitioner (I don't recall the name) made it very easy for my son again with the examination etc. Receptionists have tried to change my appointments right left centre to make sure I didn't miss important tests. Thank you.

My ten year old daughter has had recurrent issues with her ears. Resulting in numerous prescriptions and appointments. On three separate occasions we were told she would be referred to ENT if no luck with meds. We asked for another appointment as still no referral and still issues, we attended Meadowfield as no apps were available at Bearpark. The Gp started he would forward a letter of referral there and then. Months later so no appointment, I contacted Bearpark to learn this referral had not been made. I stated I would be making a complaint, which resulted in a referral for her ears to be suctioned. Also, if this did not work a referral to ENT would be made. The issue returned, again I made an appointment, only to be told that my daughter would have to live with it. We also mentioned that her hearing wasn't the best, in which the GP replied there is nothing wrong with her hearing" even though no test had been performed. He prescribed some more drops which helped the condition. However
