LWPBox | The Leith Walk Police Box is now a POP-UP space. (A pop-up is a short term flexible let.) You can let our centrally located space for as little as 4 hours. We support budding entrepreneurs, foodies, charities, campaigners, creatives and community groups. Our rates are extremely affordable and our let times are flexible.

Leith Walk Police Box
We traded here a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. The police box is well equipped, in a great location with a lot of footfall, and Monty was really helpful getting us set up and had loads of good information and advice about how we can expand our business. We hope to be back soon!

A great pop-up location near the city centre, with lots of foot traffic. You'll struggle to find another pop-up location as accessible as this in town. Monty made the whole process easy, helping us set up and take down as well as visiting throughout our pop-up to make sure things were running smoothly. Would recommend!

An amazing hub of performance, arts and crafts where community creativity takes centre stage. There is always a great mix of events taking place throughout the month. The fake fringe 2022 took place this year and was a brilliant showcase of local talent and musicians. There was a great turn out and I'm looking forward to next year!

If you want to get your name out in the community, this is the place to do it! My University of Edinburgh research team have booked the Police Box several times now to advertise and recruit participants for our project, and I recommend it completely! We've been brilliantly supported every step of the way and were more successful than we could have hoped. The foot traffic is excellent and the promotion on social media is as well. Definitely give it a try!

Would definitely recommend using this venue - what a fantastic space! Monty was fab through booking, and on the day itself. Easy to arrange, and the gazebo kept us (and the customers!) dry. The police box has a fab programme of events, and is helping local businesses to reach out to the community. Keep up the good work! Can't to see what's on the line-up for 2021!

I launched my startup tarot reading business here. Great location - always managed to break even. Tent and heater are a godsend for winter. Monty is very helpful and supportive. Would recommend for entrepreneurs

Great affordable space In the heart of Leith. Monty was very welcoming and made the whole process of setting up and executing our pop up extremely easy. Very organised and would definitely recommend if your looking for pop up space in the city!

I did the pop up at the Leith Walk Police Box for 4 years and it helped to promote my business. Monty, the owner of the Police Box, is very friendly and helpful, she did help promoting my business on social media and word of mouth, promoting on local newspapers and helped with Pat testing for electrical. After 4 years of working together I can tell that Monty is not just a sweet woman but is also a friend! Really recommended!

We had a great experience with the Leith Walk Police Box. Monty was a fantastic host, she helped us set up the gazebo for our stall and made sure we had everything we needed, giving us loads of helpful tips along the way. Even with the tramworks our stall got a decent amount of footfall, and we had some great chats with visitors and local Leithers throughout the day. We'll definitely be back!

We had a great time renting out the Police Box! I rented out the box with 2 other local artists and we all had a blast selling our works. Monty was well organized, and was a great help with both the physical setup and social media campaign for the event. We rented the box for the full day Saturday, so there was plenty of foot traffic and folks stopping by the booth. Would definitely do it again!Gianna Morelli
