Fantastic marina, safe and secure with friendly service, Paula is a star! Suited for all boats whether cruisers, narrow and wide. Everything you need but doesn't have a chandlery. Definitely worth mooring here 5mins to town and food shops just across the bridge. With glass land and park to walk the dogs.

This is a great little Marina with very helpful and friendly staff. Mark the manager and his support Martin go above and beyond to ensure all is well with your arrival, stay and departure. They could not have been more helpful. Thank you and looking forward to catching up once more next year.

Moored our narrowboat here in transit down the Trent. Found everyone to be amenable and helpful. Grounds are well kept but a little small due to its location. The location is great for shopping, eating and drinking being within walking distance of all amenities however the gate entry system is in need of a thorough overhaul.Cruisers and narrowboats exist together in harmony.Will definitely use this marina again when passing.

Paula is one of the most welcoming managers of a marina we have ever met. Kind, thoughtful and very helpful. The facilities here are really clean and well looked after and the residents we met also very friendly. Would recommend for a visit or for longer. Thanks Paula you are a gem!

Great place to go fishing. Had a great day fishing off a friends boat, a few people there doing same and a mixed response from people there. Some obviously living on barges there were bit annoyed that we were fishing but couldn't understand why. Apart from that a great day

Thank you to Mark and Martin Kings Marina, who were welcoming and helpful on our two day visit from our home base at Sawley. Kings Marina is friendly have great amenities and a short walk from Newark centre. We had a fantastic weekend and will be back.

Lovely little marina - clean, safe, good facilities, friendly staff.Has diesel, gas, pumpout, all the usual and reasonable at £11.50 a might (June 2021).Ideal location to go exploring Newark, the photo is if the Town Lock and Castle.

Kings Waterside & Marina
Stayed for two nights on a visitor mooring Easter 2022. Peaceful, secure mooring on the end of a pontoon. Great location near town and the train station. Mark, the marina manager, was friendly, helpful and professional from our initial contact when booking by phone through to meeting us in person at the jetty on our arrival.
