HB Dog Training

Our first puppy class was amazing! We learned so much and our pup loved it. It was great for him to be around other dogs and learn that his owners are still the most exciting thing in the room!!One hour of training resulted in our pup sleeping most of the day, he absolutely loved it and used so much mental energy. We can’t wait to go back!!!

Very knowledgeable, immediately came up with a plan to help change some long term challenges with a Spaniel.

My 1 year old spaniel Milo and I have been attending Billie’s classes for about 8 months and I am always recommending her to other dog owners.We’ve been to the puppy course, life skills and agility - all have been fantastic. The games based training style is brilliant. Milo absolutely loves class and has so much fun we can’t walk past the training venue without him trying to drag me up the stairs.Prior to using HB dog training we went to a traditional obedience class for a few months, lots of waiting around for a turn to have a go and Milo would get bored and frustrated. In comparison, Billie’s classes are small, interactive and she is always on hand to observe and offer individualised tips and advice. She’s also very flexible in the sessions adapting things to individual dogs’ needs - so if you have a nervous or reactive dog she will have lots of ideas to help them learn whilst minimising any stress.I’ve been genuinely staggered by how much Milo learnt during the 6 week puppy class. We developed a stronger bond, his recall and impulse control improved (there was some fab games on dealing with distractions), all round it has helped him become calmer at a very tricky adolescent stage, but best of all he just had so much fun and still loves playing all the games we learnt :)I love Billie’s training style she explains the logic behind all of the exercises to help you understand how your dog’s brain works, which has helped me to be a much better handler.Can’t recommend HB dog training highly enough - Billie is so passionate and committed to working with dogs (who all love her) and her training style is all about helping dogs become calm, confident, happy and healthy. I wish I had taken Milo to the puppy class when he was 12 weeks old, I’m sure it would have made my life a lot easier!
