Just stayed for a long weekend and I was really impressed. Stayed here two years ago it was tired and run down. But now what a difference chalet was roomy and clean and comfortable hot tub was great . You can see the park is really improving entertainment was good the amusement arcade and pub have all been refurbished to a really good standard. Staff are very nice and helpful. Definitely booking again for next year.

We came with our 4 year old daughter on 3rd of November to the 6th. We stayed in a bronze static caravan, we were very happy with the facilities even though it was the last weekend of the season. We tried the restaurant, the food was good and reasonably priced.Swimming pool was warm and clean plus the changing rooms were smart.Evening entertainment for our daughter was bang on, the staff were great with the all the children. The bar was decent too.We were told about some of the improvements which are planned for the winter, these will only make it even better. We loved the friendly down to earth staff from the moment we checked in.We hope to be back next year in May for more fun, I had better start saving up my 2 pences for the arcade!!Many thanks to everyone here who made our stay an unforgettable one!!

Just enjoyed a week in a 2 bed chalet. What a great park! All the staff we met from check in, the shop, Borders restaurant, housekeeping were super friendly and helpful. The chalet was spotlessly clean, plenty of room and modern with all amenities. Loved the arcade and outside seating area. Ate in Borders restaurant a few times which was great. Loved the decor. The park is an easy walk to the Promenade and waterfront. So glad we found this park as we will be sure to return.

Very Disappointing!!!!We have a touring caravan and stayed here a few years ago. We thought the place was quite run down but once we heard it had been bought over and 8 million pounds spent we decided to come back, which was a big mistake. The first night we decided to eat in the new restaurant which wasn’t a huge menu so expected the food to be reasonably good but it was inedible. The next day we wanted to do some indoor activities (as the weather was bad) with our 3 year old son but the soft play was closed due to a leak and the small amusements they have were closed until lunch time so we ended up having to go to the park in Silloth where again everything was also closed. The following day we went to go swimming and they had to shut the pool on arrival due to a faulty light. With everything else closed we had nowhere to go to entertain our son.Thank goodness to STANWICKS holiday park who provided us with a day pass for £5.50 per adult under 5 go free to use all their facility’s all day and salvage our holiday. The only positive feedback is the new toilet block is probably the best one we’ve been too. I’m sorry to say we won’t be back which is very disappointing as we do like the touring pitch set up (even though it could do with some attention) such a shame as they still have a long way to go. It doesn’t look like 8 million pounds has gone very far even the roads to the pitching area is full of pot holes with no street lightning. The entrance which is your first and last impression is damaged and falling apart.
