Firefly Stove Installations

David has recently installed my new stove and made all the renovations to the chimney, enabling me to have a cosy wood burner ready for the winter. He is professional and reliable. Would highly recommend!

Dave installed a double sided stove in our house, which looks absolutely brilliant!! Stone arch on one side, wooden beam on the other with brick slips inside and a reclaimed stone hearth. Dave always kept in touch throughout the installation to keep us updated, and his workmanship was top class. Top bloke as well, thanks firefly!!

Absolutely fantastic service and works completed in a timely, skilled and professional way.David removed a stove that wasn’t compliant with standards in a property we recently moved into. He took out old brickwork which previously blocked the chimney, opened it up, installed a flue and re connected the stove.Would highly recommend David and his company to anyone.

David remedied an improperly installed stove & flue. The original installer had stopped trading, and I wasn't very trusting of a new and strange tradesman after feeling quite let down by the first guy. David was thoroughly professional and earned my trust completely. David from the beginning to end was very helpful and explained everything. True professional in what he does and the results are amazing. House was kept clean, he turned up on time as he said and the work was done in no time at all. The price was the best around unbeatable! David is an outstanding fireplace fitter. The job - fitting a marble fireplace - was by no means an easy one but David was able to solve every problem that came his way due to his keen attention to detail and the methodical manner in which he works. I own a beautiful period house with original fireplaces. After a less than impressive finish in the chimney area after a chimney liner had been fitted by a previous builder the smoke did not flow properly up in the chimney. I called David Lowther at Firefly Stoves and he recommended a gatherer/shroud which he would have to have made to be fitted much higher in the initial chimney area. Excellent. Not only did David take on a modification that other fitters would not be willing to take on but he followed the job through and I’m very pleased with the finished item. Would definitely recommend David and his company.

David did a great job removing our wood burning stove, the flue and false chimney breast, blocking back up the holes in the walls internally and externally. Really clean, efficient, trustworthy and professional service, would highly recommend.
