Mohan Tandoori Take Away

Honestly. Never again. The delivery took over 2 hours. They said 50 minutes. We ordered two different curries, they tasted the same. And I rang to complain and they hung up on me after saying ‘but you got the food though’

Gone down hill. Used to be the best around. Now, not so much. The rice was so watered it may as well have been soup and was tasteless. The curry while very hot was also pretty bland and really greasy. I had to throw it away :(

Ordered on one of the well known delivery apps. I’m a hgv driver so it’s the 1st time I’ve used this restaurant, and my I wasn’t disappointed. I’m from Leic so think I have a fair understanding of the food and i was really pleased with my order. The herbs , spices tastes were fantastic, so happy to have enjoyed there food and can only hope I get the chance to eat again******Just lovely

Thanks to their food, we didn't have sleep and got sick the next day. We ordered mushroom fried rice, garlic rice, palak paneer and tarka Dahl. The mushrooms did not taste as they were cooked. The garlic rice was loaded with garlic, so much that I had to search for rice in it. The garlic was not even cut or fried, it was simply boiled along with rice. We generally love garlic rice because of the fried garlic flavour in it and I have never seen any garlic rice where the uncut and undried pieces of garlic dominating the rice. Because of that, me and my friends couldn't even sleep the whole night and the next day we got sick with fever, vomiting sensation and headache. Our breathe tasted and smelled like garlic throughout no matter what we ate the next day. Palak paneer was sweet, not mild but sweet like a dessert. I have never seen these many extremities in any food we had so far. If you wanna keep your health, I recommend you to stay far away from this. I doubt if they actually know how to cook in the first place. The only positive thing in the entire experience was they did not take much time to deliver the food.

I order fairly regularly from Mohan and it’s usually very good. Had 2 takeaways in 2 days! They didn’t give me 10% off on the first order as they should have and second was a delivery that took nearly 2 hours to arrive and the korma was actually a tikka massala. might order elsewhere for the foreseeable.

Made our first order with this company tonight as this was the only place open till 11pm. The website was easy to navigate and the choice of dishes is really good. The food we had was great, very tasty and great portion sizes for the price. However the delivery guy decided to moan at me on my doorstep for ordering at 10.10 because we live the opposite way to his home and I'm guessing he wanted to finish early. I completely get why it could be annoying but he's employed till 11pm and the company accepted the order. The way he spoke to us wasnt really acceptable, gave me a lecture about ordering earlier because he didn't want to do his job. It should have been something he discussed with his boss and not us. I won't be ordering for delivery again but the food was great so we'll be back for collection soon

We have ordered lots and lots of curries from Mohan and have never been disappointed. The staff are extremely friendly and the food is consistently good.Delivery is always quick and food has always been warm too, the driver is always friendly too and seems to work a million hours a week!

Easily one of the worse Indian takeaways I have ever had! If you order here you will disappointed by the food. Made order via Uber eats, delivered at expected time. Poppadoms was stale, onion bhaji was over cooked. The chicken tikka masala had no flavour almost like I was served the base gravy, with plenty of oil sitting on top. Only positive was that there was plenty of chicken in the curry, though you will struggle to eat the chicken as it was incredibly dry.

Usually good food and service however last week the meal was 2 hours late and cold. Very disappointed with the response “we are very busy” . Time to use one if the abundant very good take always in Witney.

Absolutely fantastic food, we were holidaying in a nearby hotel, I'm really fussy about indian food, but this was first class. Could not fault it, huge portions at a reasonable price. Fully recommend
