Bursey Engineering Motorcycles

Just got my bike back from Bursey Engineering and have to say that Paul has done a really excellent job and my old Triumph now feels like a new machine. Would highly recommend as can tell that they do really seem to care about the work they do and the price was very reasonable considering all that was needed to be done. Only would say that took a bit longer than I expected but was probably worth the wait

Took my bike down this morning to get My forks fixed and my chain/sprockets done, was a very reasonable price and In my opinion one of the best places to get bits done in new Milton for your motorcycle, only improvement I’d say is communication with customers but all in all absolutely amazing experience! Highly recommend this place for your motorcycle needs

Took my Yamaha YZF-R125 there for an MOT.Was a bit skeptical based on some reviews I read online but was a very pleasant experience.The MOT was done quick and the staff are very friendly. No problems whatsoever. Highly recommend checking out Bursey Motorcycle.Edit:Went to Bursey to get my new tyres fitted. Was all done in less than half a day and got my bike before work that evening. The staff also unbent my rear brake level too without request.I hope to have many more pleasant experiences with Bursey Engineering Motorcycles.

The best advice I can give is, steer clear of Bursey engineering. A simple service, repair and pre MOT check on my BMW trike, took 4 months to complete, this included me having to help them out by sourcing spare parts. Weekly visits to check on progress failed to achieve any speed up on the snails pace and then to top it all off, when my trike went for its MOT it failed on two items and had advisories on 4 more.This is one very unhappy customer.

Friendly, helpful. Used 3 times for SV650 tire changes and chain and sprocket replacements, happy with service.

Absolutely shocking service couldn't even repair a strimmer .Put in for a pull cord to be fixed took a week charged £30 for used cord that was to long.Returned it not working as they couldn't rethread return spring cheekily wanted another £35 to buy a new part that wasn't needed to start with.Cowboys Avoid.Irony of the story my Son with patience fixed the springDo not use.

Bursey Engineering is a lawnmower repair shop, plus motorcycle servicing, MOT testing centre and workshop. The place is family run, they are all bikers and will do a proper thorough job on your machine at a reasonable price. Check hours of opening as not all days are 9 to 5.

Staying in the New Forest for a couple of weeks and picked up a slow puncture on my Harleys rear wheel, spent most of the next day phoning all the tyre shops all of which didn't want to know + Harley Southampton (who didn't even ring me back)eventually found Bursey and the nice lady had a word with the owner who said bring it down, 2 hours later one new inner tube and we were ready to continue our holiday.Cheers for the help and brilliant service.Garry

I mostly do my own repairs / rebuilds and am a good home mechanic, but don't have the experience of those who do it everyday. Burseys have helped me out several times and last year rebuilt the carb bank from one of my Triumph triples - and did a cracking job. When we balanced them with vacuum gauges they were almost spot on - having only been balanced by eye on the bench as agreed when they took on the job. Price was very reasonable and the work delivered early. In my experience these guys are proper engineers who go the extra mile and have the know-how to rebuild and fix things - not just bolt on replacement bits which sadly has been my experience of larger main dealerships.
