Mail Boxes Etc. Sheffield

I live in the US and needed to have a small, heavy piece of metal train rail picked up in Sheffield, England, packed, and shipped to me, which also involved being in touch with the company that had the rail and doing all the paperwork to ship it internationally. I emailed Mail Boxes, Etc. and they told me they could do it and gave me an estimate immediately. They took care of the pickup and shipping right away, and I got the package in 2 days. Couldn't ask for better or more responsive service. Excellent company and personnel to deal with.

I used the collect, pack and send service for delicate items purchased at a local auction. The service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The packing was excellent and I was given a wide range of delivery options with advice on insurance. I have used lots of MBE branches and this one maintains the high standard of the others. Highly recommended.

The packaging of my valuable wines and spirits was done with consummate care, in fact as I would have done it myself, and shipped to me in Spain without problems. I will have no reservations in recommending their service and for me to use them again in the future. All at a fair and competitive price.

Extortionate quotation. Quoted over £100 for a medium sized parcel (that would cost £10-15 via RM) from an auction house in the same city as the branch.Other branches of MBE (I use frequently, including London branches) have charged me far less for far more. I don't mind paying people for a service, but I will not be ripped off - I'm flummoxed as to how the prices differ between branches of MBE like they do.

My package arrived yesterday and the fragile items that I purchased from an auction were packed very well and successfully made the journey to the states! The whole process was easy and Frank and his team genuinely seemed to care and were very responsive to my communications! I was very pleased overall. If I ever have a need, I would definitely not hesitate to use MBE in Sheffield in the future. Thank you!

I shipped something with them that was going via UPS. It never got delivered. When I contacted them, the guy there (Frank) proceeded to tell me that they could not guarantee delivery, after he attempted to deny responsibility for this shipment. I had an email with a specific delivery date that I showed them twice.He and another employee (Nick) then emailed me a few days later to say my package was delivered. They could not provide a signature to confirm the delivery, but gave a random name of a person, who no one seemed to know.I would say it's a horrible, costly service and one should AVOID this.Edit response to the company's reply-when I called initially with this query, I was told that I shipped with UPS not Mail boxes etc. I had to explain repeatedly that I had paid Mail boxes Etc and not UPS, but the shipping company used was UPS. Only then was I listened to. Additionallly, I was repeatedly told by Mail Boxes Etc that the delivery date was not guaranteed (even after I provided 2 emails showing an actual given delivery date).
