A stay here is an experience rather than a mere overnight stop. We stayed just as the existing couple who run the place were handing over to a new family from the USA. All lovely people and I'm sure the new proprietors will do a fantastic job. We had a lovely home cooked meal served as a communal meal to the guests. Breakfast was freshly cooked and spot on. The Inn is very remote, no WiFi but there is just about a mobile phone signal. Highly recommended. I can't wait to go back.

The Crask Inn
This is often called Englands most remote inn. Now owned and run by the local church it was a real salvation to come across it on my cycle from Lands End to John O’Groats. A refuge from the weather and the midgies. Dinner bed and breakfast was great and a nice little collection of single malts in the bar added to the fun. Don’t miss The Crask Inn

We stopped at the Crask Inn, on our cycle route north. Shane and his family, new management of the Inn are such good host. Very warm and friendly welcome, with a delicious 3-course meal. The location of the Inn is outstanding, in the middle of the flow with miles and miles of nothing. If you enjoy being in a remote place but still with comfort, this is the place to be. We will definitely return and stay longer next time.

September 2023: Wow! Shane was super welcoming. IN the most remote pub in the UK, nothing was too much bother for 2 weary travellers. A roaring fire, a few pints of on tap bitter beer and he even allowed us to use the microwave and charge our power station. This is a wonderful pub in exceptional surroundings and well worth a visit if ever venturing up to the Scottish Highlands. Thank you so much.

Fantastic Inn. Extremely friendly and welcoming. The owners went out of their way to provide a great cup of coffee to 2 lonely cyclists on our Lands End to John O’Groats cycle. Chatting to those who had stayed overnight they had all had a great experience too.

If your up nearby either cycling LeJog or touring or off piste with the NW500 you must stay here. Real relaxation honest home cooked food with everyone eating together around one table at fixed time. Great selection of Whisky and good beers and wine too. Love the place a rewarding step back in time.

Amazing unique place and location. Had a great time here. Managed to get a room as the midges were terrible. No food was available as we hadnt booked ahead, but we were allowed to cook our eve meal in the bar on our camping stove.

I was cycling north, passing through Crask and was pleasantly surprised to find this place open!Tasty breakfast roll, coffee and cake. The host was welcoming and has an excellent knowledge of the area (with great recommendations that saved me having to cycle over quite a few hills!). Brandy the dog is adorable.I also met a couple of other cyclists who stopping by for breakfast. Wonderful to have a such a friendly place in the middle of nowhere!

Best pub for a stop on the bike: easy coffee, delicious food, freshly baked cakes. And Maggie their lovely dog is a gentle giant.
