JV Bouncy Castle Hire

Bouncy castle turned up 40 minutes late to a party for a 3-year-old. Told contact with a manager on the day was impossible. Late collection too, meaning the hired venue had to remain open beyond the hire period.

we were thoroughly pleased with every aspect of our bouncy castle hire. From the ease of the website, to the consistent emails of reminders, to the timely delivery, the friendly employees, the ease of payment and setup to the pick up right when we expected it. Every part of the hire was great and all enjoyed the castle. We'll be using JV for future events too including one planned for Sept and I'll be sharing verbally your company as one to use for their bouncy castle needs

I don't often write reviews and especially not negative ones as I run an events business and know at times how hard it can be.We had hired generators from JV a few years ago and got a good service although communication wasn't the best.We have provided PA for a fairly large and well know fireworks show locally near Winchester for some years and have a great relationship with our client. In previous years we used our own generator we purchased a few years agoThis year we needed a bigger generator due to additional requirements and I had no hesitation to use JV, especially as being a fireworks show in a field ideally needed the generator collected in the evening and knew they did 'out of hours' collection. The generator was booked but have to say as others have said communication was very poor.Imagine my shock when I get an email late on Tuesday night saying they had to cancel the booking as his van had developed an issue as they had no contingency! Their token offer of help was to give me the number of two local generator hire companies, neither of which could collect on the Friday and could only collect on the Monday!Clearly not going to be ideal as can't really leave a generator in a field for 3 days!Really should have made arrangements to get their generator to site or made arrangements with another company to do so.This caused me and my client a great deal of stress not to mention several hours finding another company who could deliver a generator and collect on the Saturday morning, which still wasn't ideal but better than Monday.There are a lot of positive reviews which are no doubt when things go well.But it does seem when there are issues their customer service is quite frankly very poor and they seem to make no effort to resolve the situation.

I should have read the reviews before hiring because someone else said they felt scammed. I hired the bull and shelter for an event to be told conveniently there was no space to put up the shelter and I was not able to get a refund. When I spoke to Kevin on the phone he was very dismissive of it and did not want to assist or even discuss a refund for the shelter. I spent money on the bull and was not asking for a refund for that, we were more than happy with that but it did rain and we have no shelter.I had pre measured my garden to make sure the measurements stated online fit everything as I did not want to waste anyone's time but I felt more like it was too much effort rather than lack of space. It's a shame they do not have good service afterwards because I would have recommended to people but it seems more a case of money collecting and then avoid all contact after.

This is the 3rd year running I have used JV Bouncy Castles to book a bouncy castle for my son’s birthday and I wouldn't book anywhere else!Everyone I have dealt with has always been friendly, flexible and professional. I've found the customer service faultless, received a reminder prior to my event and most importantly felt relaxed and secure in the knowledge that they wouldn't let me down which was fantastic as I had a million other things to bake, organize and prepare!A big bouncy thank you to you all at JV Bouncy Castle Hire, Basingstoke :)

Great Service!! JV Bouncy Castle Hire provided inflatable’s for our Staff Summer BBQ on Sunday at Wellington Country Park, great communication right from the initial enquiry to the actual booking and delivery. The guys who set up for our event were very friendly and came at 10am as arranged, the inflatable obstacle course kept both the children and adults occupied all afternoon and the space hoppers and tug of war were great fun also. I would definitely recommend people book JV Bouncy Castles I can’t wait to use them for the next event!

The service from JV Bouncy castles was excellent. After reading many testimonials online, I knew I could trust them to turn up on my wedding day without me being there to oversee it. They were friendly and responded to all my emails. Above all else, the bouncy castle was a mega hit!!! Definitely a great addition to our wedding reception and I even managed to do a few front flips in my very fitted wedding dress!! Thanks so much!!

Delivery was 45 mins late- no one reached out to tell us this would be the case (which was my main frustration - I understand sometimes delays are out of people’s control). Tried to follow up since with emails and voicemails and been totally ignored- I even wrote a brief Facebook comment which simply informed them their dm’s weren’t working for me and asking them politely to please get in touch- this was also deleted.Just to update my review- after putting up the above I was contacted that evening. I was told they’d be happy to discuss my complaint only once my review has been removed- I replied to say I will remove/edit only once they’ve resolved the issue. That was a week ago. They have said they are currently out of the country at the moment so I very much hope to hear from them on their return.

This is the third time I've used JV Bouncy Castles and their service levels continue to impress me. Their communication with me prior to the event was light in touch but regular and informative including details about drop off, collection and exactly who would be my liaison.John arrived exactly on time and quickly assembled and inflated the bouncy castle and took great care to ensure everything was in pristine condition, right down to removing the last blade of grass from the last hire!The guys collected exactly on time and were very quick to pack away without any fuss.I will be using JV again and would happily recommend them to anyone!

Have had a ball pit and a giant slide off JV castles so far. Another one booked for Halloween, overall impressed with the service we receive. Have always been on time. Recommend and will continue to use every event where we require inflatables.
