Specialist Valeting Services Ltd

I worked for this company, taken on for a 16 hour a week contract and worked 40+ hours a week to help them out. I was unfairly dismissed because they lost the contract I was taken on for (through no fault of mine) apparently there was damage to the company vehicle I was using, the damage to the vehicle consisted of a scuff to an alloy and a cigarette burn in the driver's seat, alloy scuff is general wear and tear of usage and the burn was done by another member of their staff so they had a reason to dismiss me. Dealing with my manager can only be described as aweful, he was a very condescending individual who wouldn't let you get a word in edgeways during a conversation and just hung up when he wasn't getting his way. In all I would not recommend anyone to work for this company as they have no loyalty to staff at all and will find a reason to screw you over in the end. Also had £410 stolen from my final wage with no reason.

Applied for a job with this company, they contacted me on Monday to see what experience I had, told them I had very little but willing to train, bloke called Glyn said he would sort some training out for me but failed to do this. Contacted him again (Friday) tells me there is no jobs going at the mo, I asked him why he has come to this conclusion and why he contacted me earlier in the week, his answer was that he thought he needed the extra staff. I asked about this training that I was meant to have? He said this other guy is away at the mo and cannot contact him, then he told me to forget the whole thing due to my tone of voice. I am frustrated and angry as I feel he has just been fobbing me off and would not give me a straight answer. Complete waste of time if you’re looking for a job with these guys and are extremely rude, please avoid

I have worked for this company for over 2 years now and I haven't got a bad thing to say about them manager Glynn Emmerson as always been the right man if I had any problems or greavences and has always tryed his best to please any of my needs.

Tonight 27-10-22 betwine 1830 and 1930 car nl62bsz was drivin like a mad man on m61 goin to m60 he must av overtook me doin like 90 an was brandishin cans ov larger. Catch him up near m60 slow movin 2 see him open more cans ov larger. Always see these vans drivin like d**ks worst compny ever

Can't say anything bad really.Only valeting company I have worked for who AM asked me to do a trial, worked for a few of valeting company's who don't even meet you on site. NOT SVSThey even did a licence check...Yes I only did a few weeks and moved on out of the motor trade AS IT WAS JUST A STOP GAP FOR MEI even got my brother working for them and he still is 5 month now Without any problemThere's a sayingDo the job right TURN UP and you won't have any issues with the manager (Glyn)They only want things doing right in first placeIf I ever decide to go back in valeting I will be calling svsJust a updateI called Glyn the manager as I was out of a job.I worked a couple of weeks for him did explain it was only a few weeks till I found my feet.Guess what he found me a job.KValetersOnly get face on. reading some of the comments on here they don't do the job or don't turn up .Guys if you want a valeting job call svs

worked for this company for many years now , hopefully for many more years to come one of the best valeting companies i have ever had the pleasure to work for , always pay what you are due on time with no hassle , the one time there was a delay it was sorted and put into my account within two hours of work commencing , great communication and great management.

i worked for svs as an area support operative. I helped out at sites all over the area they have, having worked in quite a few valeting roles in the past, i found this role easy to fit in to, i never had any issues with any of the contracts that they held and the manager glyn was always open with what needed to be done and time lines that it had to be done in.

Worked for SVS for 6 months after getting made redundant in lockdown , found them very honest and upfront, always paid on time and paid holidays also when accrued , had regular feedback to my performance, if your a hard working person you will always find a full time position as I did..i still get a catch up call from Glen & Geoff periodically which I great. I was employed by SVS not self employed.

I have worked for svs for just over 2 years now and having worked for a few valeting firms over the years and must say svs has been the best i've worked for. They always pay on time, and i would highly recommend them as employers.

One of their drivers in a White Ford Fiesta Van nearly caused a serious accident on the M60 break checking a container lorry.We have dash cam footage and this will be passed over to the police. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST.Their drivers are aggressive. The lorry was in the right and the driver didn't seem to like the fact he was in the wrong and slammed on for no reason causing the lorry to suddenly stop. This could have resulted in a serious incident. Very bad image for the company.
